    You've been very generous. The response you get is irrelevant - job done! Don't let your generous and kind nature suck you in to giving her any more refund, especially as you know she ooened emails, and still has access to your product. Stay strong!

    Thanks guys! Yep, I am too kind and it is my downfall. My DH is a great role model for business, he is tough as nails (but works in a male tradie industry so says he has to be) but he takes no crap from anyone and is easily able to separate business from his private life. Whereas I find it hard to separate the two and be the tough business person - maybe because my industry is health and personal development and dealing with lots of emotion and distressed people.

    I did run this business very successfully for quite a long time, but I think times are harder for people now and I just haven't changed with the times and protected my product well enough. Time for a hard look at myself and whether I can develop the skills I need to be more firm in recognising the value of my product and sticking to the contracts and agreements that I have in place. Hopefully I can expand enough again to have a "gatekeeper" who deals with these questions for me and I can pass the type of issues that I find difficult, on to someone who has no problem with being firm :-)

    Or, you could have 'pretend' secretary or business manager, who is a hard @rse? Set up another email address, pretend to have 'Maria' or 'Dave' do all the hard stuff for you ☺ 'Want a refund? Oh, you'll have to discuss that with Maria (or Dave) my business manager'. Then 'they' can say no for you! ☺
