    Default Acne while breastfeeding

Just wondering if anyone has experienced acne while breastfeeding and have any advice on treatment?
I have pcos and pre-TTC took Yasmin OCP for many years which did wonders for my skin. I have a 4.5 month DD now and I'm breastfeeding and I've got constant acne not on my face but on my shoulders and the back of my neck. While pregnant I had it on my chest but that cleared up when I had DD.
I'm guessing it's hormonal so I'm not sure if skin creams would be of any use? I'd go back on the Yasmin if I wasn't BF but that's not an option at the moment. I've been using a gentle scrub and just soap and water. It's starting to get me down and affect my self esteem. I cover it up by wearing tops which cover my shoulders but it still upsets me. Any advice appreciated ☺️

I had bad acne while pregnant and BF too. Topical treatments did work while feeding, not during pregnancy nothing helped then. I use Medicalia blemished skin toner cleanser and cream, and have used Benzac cream too.

Hope you find something that helps, I found it embarrassing too.

Thank you, I got some phisohex wash and benzac scrub. Skin feels a bit better with that. I am reluctant to use the benzac cream as my skin is quite sensitive but I might try the 2.5% if the cleanser doesn't work.
