Default Average PDG Test wait time?

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has done PGD testing recently? I feel lucky enough to have 3 embryos that are suitable for testing, last cycle we only had one embryo which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage at 7 weeks.

We were told by Genea that it would take approx 21 days but it is now 28 days with no news and this extra wait is driving me crazy....

It would help to hear other people's experiences to distract me from staring at my phone waiting for the clinic to call.

Mine was supposed to take 3 weeks but was 5 days late - 5 days of extra waiting to get my abnormal result. I am with Monash in Brisbane.

This time I have two in for testing and am about half way on the wait. I'd ring them. I did the last time and found out the delay was due to some equipment shortage in Melbourne so at least I knew the reason.

Results came back today, 2 were abnormal and 1 is suitable for transfer. Fingers crossed for the next stage.

Good luck to everyone who is going through a similar waiting period.
