When I was younger I had super short hair (close crop about 2 inches in length). I loved it. In my 20s I grew my hair long and got too scared to cut it so I've had it long for 10+ years now. But I wear it down only once a month maybe so I just don't see the point now! I've clipped my hair up to see how it might look short and it just seems lighter and fresher. I figure if I don't like it I'll just grow it out again 😛

@Phony thanks for thinking of me 😀 next Friday is the big day! Very excited. I hadn't thought of taking before and afters that's a great idea! Maybe I'll share the back view so I can maintain my cover 😉

Ah yeah, you can hide your face. I'd do that too.

Ok so today was the big day! It's a bit different to what I imagined but I went in with no idea lol. The after shots are a bit crap as I was frazzled by the end of the day so I didn't walk out messed up like that! Really happy with what they did - massive change. Looking forward to styling it myself. The colorist was amazing and they cut and coloured it in a way that they said I could get 4 months between visits and it will look ok. My DH was a star took the day off and looked after DD (at the salon as she won't take a bottle so had to be nearby for bf). She was a little gem too considering I was there for 3.5hrs!

Please don't quote as I'd like to delete face shots!
