@kmvw - I'm so sorry hun, that is $hit. I've always opted for the d&c right away - I couldn't handle a natural mc. Sending you strength over this weekend.

@Tanej78 - That wait is almost as bad as the TWW. Are you finding out the sex? I harassed my OB for the results until she let the lady at the front desk tell me.

@Annie85 - According to the paperwork it's Monday the 11th. But I will test before I think. I did with the first cycle, though I'm more anxious about this one. You never think the first cycle is going to work, so I had no expectations. But it did - so now I'm convinced this one will fail. Who knows.

@lileitak yep we are... The first tube failed so we have to wait an extra week now for them to setup 2nd tube and hopefully that works!! I just want to see baby again, that's what wait kills me most, to make sure everything is still going good... But I just have to trust that this time it is... I've never been this far, never had a 10week scan til last week... So this pregnancy is different! But it's so easy to slip into self preservation mode

Thanks for your kind words, today has been a roller coaster and I'm in a little bit of shock. I had my ultrasound this morning in preparation for having a d&c this afternoon. The sonographer is rather silent, expected silence because we knew it wasn't good news, she calls the doctor in to confirm things. When he confirms things he then tells us "you have two sacs and two heartbeats"! Blown away, I'm still high risk of miscarriage because they are measuring 1 week behind but I'm so confused now. There wasn't meant to be one heartbeat. I need to hang on to some hope things will be ok, just keep growing

Anyone know LB's opinion on taking pessaries rectally? They are so messy otherwise.

I'd call my nurse, but she no longer works there and I figure someone on here knows.

I've been advised by many FS and nurses to do it that way. Especially working women who can't have oil leaking out her vag at work lol

    They are SO gross.

Thanks much! I figured it was fine, but you do come across varied opinions online.
