I think I will call her office again on Monday and get them to get lynn to double check my results.
Otherwise I will continue with the 5MG instead of 10mg until 7wks scan and ask lynn herself then and there.

Question with your 7 weeks scan did you get to speak to lynn in her office and did she give you a referral to release you to your obstetrician? Or do you need a follow up appointment for the referral?

My monash nurse said to book the 7wks scan and get referral to release to an obstetrician.. didn't realise things move along so quick from positive beta.

Lynn does the 7w scan herself, so you do speak to her. You need a referral from your GP for the OB so it lasts the entire pregnancy (12 mos). Specialist referrals are only valid 3 months.

You need to get on to it too. If you plan to deliver privately in metro Melbourne you need to get a bed. When you book in to see your OB they'll do the hospital booking for you.

    Good luck!

@lileitak thank you for the info.
We're just gonna go with the public system. Trying not to get ahead of ourself still need the scan to confirm that everything's going to plan first 😊

@Cooki Lynn did not do my 7 week scan...her covering ultrasoundographer did it. Lynn wasn't even working the day i had my scan. I was pretty disappointed. I started spotting at 5 weeks and just kept on doing betas to check my levels . were going up. They cancelled my scan appointment as lynn was not free and didnt care that i was spotting....i had to wait a whole.week. I booked my obstetrician as soon as i got my first beta....so i called him when they cancelled my scan...and he told me to come straight in.
Just felt like....there u go we got u pregnant now fend for yourself.

I find it so puzzling we've all had such different experiences with Lynn. SMH...

    Congrats cooki
I had the 7 week scan with lynn's sonographer with my last pregnancy which was better as she was very thorough and lovely. After I had the scan I saw Lynn quickly to discuss a few things.
I was also very worried to stop solone so quickly so waited till the scan to start weaning off. Good luck

@Cooki pregnancy is going great...i spotted from week 5 to 8...and I'm now 32 weeks. 6 weeks until I'm induced.
It was just a shame I didn't get to see or speak to Lynn during my 7 week scan....i belive was scan was on a Wednesday. But the sonographer was very lovely!!!

@MND congrats that's great to hear ☺ exciting time for you.

Yeah I would be disappointed too especially when we're paying that much for her service lol hopefully I will get her for my scan in a couple of weeks time since it's on a Monday which can't come quick enough.
