@kuwtk Just curiously, do you mind me asking how much you're paying for your DE scripts with LB? Super good luck with your Spanish DE journey!
@Tahli hello, she actually wrote some scripts for me during one of my appointments, so not sure if she charges for them without an appointment.. I would think not being an existing patient but just a guess! Are you also going down the donor path?
Hi ladies, Lynn has prescribed me Endometrian pessaries (3times a day) instead of Pregnyl injections for post egg collection. Is this normal or should I double check it with her?
Random question ladies - anyone know Lynn's position on transferring 2 embies?
I suspect she is against it unless there is a reason.
Hi Faithslove, Tanej78, Tahli
We have finally decided to go on the surrogacy route. It was a hard decision to take and also a tough preocedure to do if you are engaging in commercial surrogacy overseas, but if every step is taken in the right way, it's doable
We are going to get it done from Ukraine as India and Thailand has banned it. As we made 3 normal embryos in our pgd cycle in dec, the clinic has agreed to try with our embryos first, we will need to ship our embryos to them. And if all the 3 don't work even in the surrogate, then we will go to de plus surrogacy and we will have a baby in the end. When we go to sign the contract , DH can provide a semen sample to be frozen and needed if required. It's a all inclusive 'package.'
i know it's a very cumbersome procedure and there are so many legal things that need to taken care of etc, but we just felt, we have tried enough with almost all the options and didn't want my body to go through everything again and again and wasting the precious tested embryos on top of being a major brain surgery survivor. It was a tough decision to make. But now we are sure to do this. Hopefully it works out fine.
ps Hope you are well now Tanej78. You can pm me if you want. I have been worried about you after your laproscopy xx
Faithlove good on you. That's the way to go with all the fs I think. After all we are responsible for ourselves in the end...

@Sue77 <hugs> You have given so much to IVF, I'm glad you've found peace going to surrogacy route. You will have to keep us posted with the progress.
Question - I wasn't aware you could ship embryos. Did monash organise this for you? I only ask because we are moving overseas and have 4 frosties I'd like to use.
Sue77- I truly wish you all the best as you go down the surrogacy route. As lileitak said you have really given all you could with ivf and I really hope this will give you your bubba. Xxx
Lileitak- I'm not sure Lynn's stance on double embryo but it seems more and more specialists opt for one now for various reasons. With my first cycle with Lynn I put two back in but after losing that bubba at 18 weeks and a subsequent diagnosis of an incompetent cervix it was deemed too dangerous to ever do a double transfer again. Ultimately you can do a double if you wish just need to sign a consent form if it's against dr advice.
