Thanks Girls... so we hae 2 more that are frozen and being biopsied. . Let's hope they are normal. ... and all the implantation hurdles are also treated with intralipids .. pred etc.. so many hurdles to pass through

I got late in posting as I had to head to the hospital as I suspected mild ohss.. my stomach got really bloated ... I was looking like 5 months preggo. . But thankfully I didn't have symptoms like shortness of breath or nausea .. so they observed me and I had lots of liquids n I m back home now... they said to come back if anything else different happens...

This has happened first time with me .. any suggestions ? And does it effect implantation at all ? A bit worried...

I had mild OHSS with my cycle, and the result was my gorgeous little boy.

TaneJ, how are you feeling? Praying for your BFP!
Sue, hope you are feeling better Now! Ladies, I've just read something about dq alpha matching. Absolutely horrified! I had 4 miscarriages before and the. Haven't been to able to fall preg naturally since. After reading this dq alpha matching online, I immediately diagnosed myself with the that (thanks to Dr Google)! Have you girls heard about it? How do you test for it? Any is it possible to have a successful pregnancy with that condition?

@SophJ depends which doc you ask-LB & WDA don't believe in DQ Alpha matching, NL does & treats with LIT & Immune suppression, GM does but also tests for further HLA mismatches (again treats with LIT, Neupagen etc) Braverman in the US says DQ Alpha testing alone is outdated, Sher in the US says it's relevant but more so in conjunction with K-562 target cell testing (LIT banned in US). I'm still trying to figure it out after being diagnosed with a partial DQ Alpha match, sorry this doesn't answer your question 😔

Thanks for the info! Still helpful. What is the test for dq alpha? Is it just a blood test? And how long does it take to get the result?
