    Good luck!

You've probably had the interview already, and this isn't for teaching, but we've always been told to take some notes in. Not too many, just a page to refresh your memory.

Good luck Noms, I hope your nerves didn't get the better of you, because you deserve this, it's your passion and you're damn fine at it! 👌😊

Well I went in and said all I wanted to say- that it's my passion and if I don't get this job I'll have to rethink my whole career but I don't want to because I simply *am* a teacher etc. I got 10 min to look at the question and write notes which made life so much easier. I was a lot more relaxed because of it and we had a bit of nice banter. I held eye contact and smiled a lot but really, who knows.
I am told I will know by fri arvo at the latest. I made a deal with God that if I get this job, I'll give up Coke. It's something I've been trying to do for about a year now but I find in hot weather I crave a glass on ice.
(Well this could be awkward. The drink, obs- not the drug!) so yeah- I'm willing to give up my one big treat and crutch if it means getting my foot in the door.
At the moment I would say my chances are 50-50.

    Nail biting.

    Default Help- interview tips

Please start up a giving up coke thread when (yes, when 😊) you get this job please. I gave up Coke for 6 months and have now started having a glass here and there, so slack I am! 😔

Well! Got called in to come to assembly fri morning for ds1 who was getting an award, prin walks up to me half way through and asks for a chat after assembly.
So over I go, and prin and vp want to clarify some points because there was a huge difference in my answers from interview 1 to interview 2.
Long story short I have the job. So I'm happy.
But of course, since all the other new staff are grads and therefore cheap, my position is already in danger- I'm only guaranteed 6 months full time because the teacher taking mat leave has expressed she would like to return at least part time after 6 months.
I've already chatted with that teacher, she has said she will definitely looking for another job at a new school, and if she can't get 2 days a week back, she won't even bother.

    Congratulations! Stupid cheap grads. 😝

What were the things they wanted to clarify, just out of curiosity?
