hugs @Tahli, I really hope everything is still ok. try and rest up if you can. your nurse sounds a bit insensitive to say what she did.
@Charlie74, great follie numbers. congrats. sounds like you're all set for EPU

JM, not sure if it's the same thing, but I had a sore tail bone (or something nearby) each time I stood up. it's stopped now. I thought it was just something leftover from my appendix op as it started happening following that recovery. lasted a few months.

@Tahli - I agree with the other comments - it's going up which is good and you will hopefully see a good increase in your next BT. I know the wait is really hard.

I know with IVF you have to do blood tests but honestly if I ever get the chance to transfer I'd really like just to do one initially and then not do anymore except progesterone in case I needed supplemented. They can be good and things turn out badly and they can be supposedly bad and things turn out well. Having to do multiple tests looking for a textbook doubling rates runs a mixer through your brain.

yeah, @Green lady, sometimes I think it might be easier to be like my sis who didn't find out until 9weeks so was blissfully unaware of the stressful first few weeks. ivf magnifies it since we're used to the appointments and regular tests.

Hang on @Tahli, aren't you only 14dpo today? For 14dpo that is great ! People don't usually get tested before then so who would know what the doubling times are before that ? The next one will be a much better indicator x

As for progesterone, mine has never been tested that I'm aware of (during a pregnancy) so I can't comment on that sorry. Shouldn't it just stay around the same level?

Thanks ladies. Honestly these last few days have possibly been the most stressful of my life. I was told there were no nurses in the clinic until Friday so I would have to wait until then. So I called mivf directly and they said as I'm a public patient they can't give my information it must come from a nurse at sunshine or the fs. So then I speak to the fs receptionist who says I can't have that info because I'm a public patient. Thankfully another fs who I've been dealing with overheard her and was nice enough to call me and tell me that nothing has been frozen yet however there are 3 still going that they will either freeze today or grow out til tomorrow. If 3 make it I will be 1 better off than last time but this whole process has made me realise that low cost clinics save on lab costs and don't really want anything to freeze really. The stress I've had with this plus work and the huge fire brigade fine that I'm being bullied into paying has left me in tears most of today. I really don't think this is going to work. Now about to pay out for another acupuncture session in only a few days. Urgh vent over ladies. Severely sleep deprived and fed up!!

Tahli I don't know really anything about what you are going through but want you to know I'm here listening and supporting on the sidelines. Try not to focus on what the nurse said and listen to all the positive comments on this thread and rest xxx

Oh darling I am so feeling for you right now

I know the horror of having a phone call where the hCG doesn't seem to be rising properly and the instant stress that gives. Like the others have said, it's too early to be counting yourself out just yet, but I can totally understand how every fear in the world comes in to torment you when things appear to not be quite right. All you can do is take care of yourself, and minimise the "what if" thoughts as much as possible. Easier said than done, I know.

I have everything crossed that it's just a little blip and Fridays result will be perfectly on track. These things are not an exact science - otherwise there wouldn't be so many stories of slow rising hCG ending in healthy babies. It's just too early to tell what is happening yet. Hang in there hon, we're all here for you.

Im not 100% sure which way this pregnancy will go. My hpts dont seem to be as dark as last time. Ive had couple of chems previously so will have to wait and see. As i said to my acunpt lady i cant change anything just have to wait and see. If this one doesnt work out we will do one more stim cycle with pgd then do de cycle overseas.
