Good on you @Tahli, all of these things happen for a reason. God knows what it is sometimes, lol, but there must be a plan somewhere.

That is just so lovely of your Dad to step up like that. And I don't blame you for dropping your bundle after his phone call either. My God, with all the hormones and stress and anticipation and then devastation - you must feel like you're on the roller-coaster from hell! Here's hoping Plan E is the one love

Sadly, not me @Bongley. If we do manage to scrape enough money together, I'll be a part of the New Year crew

Hopefully by then AF will have come back, lol. Waiting, waiting....

Would have been interesting to hear. Having used both a normal (high cost?) clinic and a low cost clinic, I had the opposite happen. At QFG I was on 600 units of Gonal F daily, and my low cost clinic MyIVF doesn't believe in high amounts of stimms drugs and only had me on 150 units.

I think baby b is worrying him because it is smaller and also had the SCH. No gurantee though that the test will pick up baby b's cells.
I had the Harmony, cost has gone down to $450 (every little bit of saving helps), and pretty sure the paperwork said it was effective for twins, but not more than that. Worth checking out.
We opted to have it done as my FS said that with my maternal age, the nuchial was more than likely to come back high risk anyway, and having to do an amnio was not something I'd even consider. Then if it came back high risk, we'd have to do the Harmony anyway, and we didn't want to wait that long. With the harmony being done in Brisbane now, we had our results in 5 days.

    Default IVF over 40 #21

@Tahli best of luck in CT. I've been reading along (having trouble keeping up with everyone), and am so sorry your last cycle went the way it did. I hope this one is the one that gets you your baby ❤️

Hi to everyone else, and all the new ladies that have joined. This is such a lovely, supportive thread, even if it is a little hard to follow as it moves so quickly!

AFM, I've booked into the hospital last week, I have my morphology scan booked for a week & a half time. Presently heading towards 18 weeks, I've just stared to feel bub move around, and I've really popped this week. Visiting with my best friend who's just back from living in France, haven't seen DH for 5 days, think he's going to be surprised when he sees the belly lol

Cant believe I'm nearly half way!

Thanks heaps for your kind words @Blossom74. First thing this morning I ate a 'share' packet of Flake Bites for you!! (Not the whole packet. I'd eaten the other half lastnight. Maybe that's what Cadbury mean by 'share'...share half the pack with the morning and the other half with the night).
