JM congrats on your baby bump and nearing graduation from first trimester. I am getting a slight bump too (must be the twin thing) but otherwise feeling miserable (tired and sick). Can't wait to get to second trimester. We have our nt scan booked but my ob wants us to do harmony as well because of my age. $500 Still thinking about it (actually I said no in the ob's office but he mailed me the form in case I change my mind). I think baby b is worrying him because it is smaller and also had the SCH. No gurantee though that the test will pick up baby b's cells.

And therein lies the problem Luv doing the NIPT test with twins. Most of the twin mumma's on the other thread have done the NT scan/bloods then done the NIPT if any red flags have come up. I can see why you don't want to shell out that kind of $ when you have no guarantee of getting an accurate result.

Am sorry to hear you're feeling so crappy Luv Hopefully it'll be all behind you in a few weeks Good luck with your upcoming NT test too

I opted out because it was a waste of money I think with twins. The nuchal scan will give you an indication and maybe if that's iffy then you could go the harmony then and/or the CVS or amnio ? How long does it take to get results from the harmony? Yep, I'm feeling run down and crappy too, tired and ill. Bring on next week - drug free (well... close enough) and second trimester.

Oh @Tahli, I can just imagine how gutted and disappointed you are - especially when it is caused by someone else GRRRR !!! Do you drink wine? If not, you should start tonight. And cake. Eat cake.

Hi everyone, I'm reading along. I've got gastro so off work today I'm in front of the teev watching Netflix. I have no bodily fluids left so I've dried up to the size of a dessicated prune. So, so ill. I am very worried that I have infected my mate who has an EPU tomorrow. We shared food on the weekend

Sorry your FET has been put off and you lost money @Tahli, that sucks.

    Take care everyone.

Settled for licking the excess icing out of the bowl after making DP's cupcakes for his lunchbox this week!!! I also knocked up some fairly healthy banana, yoghurt and whole oat muffins too yesterday to take the edge off!!!

Of course, now I feel like I've been run over by a bus with the usual crap that CD 1 brings Was planning on going and running some errands and such today, but have decided to do it tomorrow instead as I can't be frucked to be honest so am giving myself a free pass today instead

Sounds like a good idea @BIB. No point pushing yourself when you're not up to it. I say, settle in for a dvd and a big chunk of cake and wait for it to pass.

I remember when I was a young 'un my cycle was so regular you could set your watch by it. 28 days, bam, bam, bam. Now-a-days, some cycles are 24 days and some are 42, or it could fall anywhere in between I still haven't seen AF since my D&C. We are now a full 5 weeks since surgery. I wonder if ishe will ever come back? I'm not seeing any signs of her impending arrival...

Bl@@dy ex's. My DH's ex is really one out of the box. She is not the sharpest tool in the shed and couldn't/wouldn't accept that when he left her it was really for good. Even a year and a half into our relationship she would call his mobile when we were in bed at night, screaming hysterically that he 'had to come home so we could be a family again.' We had to threaten her with calling the police and having her charged with harassment to get it to stop. I don't understand why, if someone left you, you wouldn't just try to forget them. I know I'd be like "Don't let the door hit you on the a$$ on your way out!"

PS: Did anyone hear the news report this morning about the low cost IVF clinics?

They were talking about the concern that there were more cases of ovary hyperstimulation associated with the lower cost clinics due to the 'one size fits all' drug regimes they put women on. It was quite interesting. I believe Primary IVF weighed in on the debate also.
