@greenlady I am so sorry for your loss, so many gals have been through so much and a late term loss is right up there with being the worst I can imagine. I sincerely hope you get some comfort here. Xx

@Countrygirl72 I'd recommend EDA:- egg donation Australia website. It is a great community and there are lots of local donors there and information for recipients . I found my amazing donor on there. Took me about 4 months to find someone but it could be quicker if you go to the regular meet ups. It's a good option if you want to find a known donor and you just have to cover their costs.
Good luck with whichever way you decide, CT is a great option too

@Caesardust thats a turn up for the books isnt it. I ditto what fantastic bib outlined above. I would have the appt with nl even though you wouldnt cycle till next year and he might have some tests that he recommend you get in the interim.

I am a bit confused though. If we were to fall pregnant naturally, is it not the case that the egg travels down the fallopian tube, into the uterus, and then floats around until it finds a nice spot? I mean, I didn't think they popped out of the tube and anchored as soon as they hit uterus?

My FS used the peanut butter analogy to satisfy my worry that the emby might be able to 'fall out' if I walked too vigorously (!) but I always thought that once the emby was in it could settle anywhere - hence the risk of ectopic pregnancy (floats back up the tube?) and the reason why some bubbies attach on the left as opposed to the right or in the centre.

Or have I got it all wrong?

Anyone in the know on this? It's all very interesting....
