    Welcome @Countrygirl72!
Gosh @Green lady I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter. Just totally and utterly heartbreaking.
@BlondeinBrisvegas it's amazing the financial we sacrifices we go through isn't it, let alone the personal/emotional ones.
Wholey heck is my head in a bad place. Self blame. Lost any enthusiasm. Massively don't want to do the next cycle. Don't want to spend the last of my savings on this cycle. Want to cry. Etc, etc.
And where's my lining from my pregnancy cycle?! Even though I have my period I'm so dry by the end of today, cd1, I can't insert a tampon it's so painful. I've had to use a pad. It only adds to how p~seed off I am.
I started all my drugs today for the next double embryo FET. At least there's no angsting about how many embryos to transfer this time. Even though Dr W has increased by Progynova from 4 to 6 tabs a day. I've upped it myself to 9.
Sorry for the downer post girls.

Thanks JulieMalooley! Congratulations on being pregnant with twins, how exciting! I'll definitely have a read in the South Africa thread, thanks. Might have a few questions for you along the way too if that's ok.

@Tahli my af has progressively got less and less since I started ivf to the point where I don't even need to use more than a panty liner on day 1. If there's anything on day 2-3 it's rare. I've had trouble with my lining on all fet cycles and on stims it still only gets to about 9mm. I don't think the oestrogen patches or progynova do what they are supposed to do for me but I wonder if they work for other people. I totally get why you would feel apprehension about the cycle but for some reason docs don't think lining is much of an issue. I don't agree with that though.

Afm ladies I emailed my crappy clinic to say I wanted my medical records to go see a specialist and they called me in the afternoon offering me a one time good will gesture of a fully bulk billed cycle. I would only need to pay for meds. They said I should be so happy. Of course it's great but would rather have had a call telling me this 5th cycle had worked. Now I'm in this catch situation. The clinic is basic ivf and I've demonstrated that doesn't work for me so why bother offering me a free cycle if they aren't going to do anything different. It's just a fet as they said I have two embryos so they must be used before any further stims according to their policy. I have an appt with dr NL this week but he's with the competing clinic so he wouldn't treat me unless I was to change clinics I guess and then I'd miss out on a free cycle. I have up until January 31 to report my day 1. Help me!! I don't know what to do. I'm wondering if Dr M could see me before then and prepare a treatment plan. I haven't called his office yet and fear it's too late. I don't know whether to cancel the appt with dr NL as I can't afford a full cycle with them at the beginning of the new year and his appt is Thursday and my day 1 will be Monday. I'm in such a state of anxiety about all of this and so worried whatever I choose will be the wrong option.

Apologies...I meant to tell you that earlier but got side tracked with dinner/dishes etc.

Anyhoo..I'm sorry you've had no success thus far but will send a prayer out to the Universe that you will on your next upcoming Cycle in the New Year!!!😊
Thanks BlondeinBrisvegas. I have to say, I've enjoyed your posts. Amongst the great advice you give and the serious of this difficult process, having someone around with a healthy sense of humour is a must and I've found myself having a giggle at some of the things you say 😝

@Tahli I'm so sorry you're feeling so down. The roller coaster of emotions we're constantly on is just exhausting. I hope you can feel better about things soon, just think you've got another chance to become a mum. I really hope it works for you.

    Oh Luv....

I'm not surprised you're feeling the way you do You've just suffered a terrible blow emotionally Luv, plus coming off the meds, AF, organising flights, meds, protocols, consults, etc, etc and now you're starting the bloody drugs again!!! No wonder you don't know if you're coming or going or been FFS's!!!

I'm also the same as you and @Caesardust in terms of AF. My heaviest day is either CD1 or 2 (depending on what time she arrives) and then it's just light staining and spotting pretty much for the next few days. I think age has something to do with it too as well as the IVF in all likelihood.

I can see why you don't want to spend any more $ either, but fruck me, this Cycle has got to frucking work!!! Yep, get stuck into the Progynova Luv!! I took 2x2mg's all the way through until transfer, then after, it was 8 pills a day of those and Ralovera. it helps thicken up your lining even more so you'll have a lovely "Whopper" there for your embies to make themselves at home in

Luv..have a good, old cry and get it all out of your system ok?? Seriously....have a bloody good blubber in the shower and purge yourself of all the different emotions you're feeling. Come in here and share and vent away as much as you want. Whatever it takes to "reset" your mental and emotional headspace before you fly out on "BFFP Airlines" to collect your 2 very precious Xmas gifts

Hugs tahli. I dont blame you for feeling the way you do. I rock up the clinic for transfer whereas you are flying to another country thousands of miles away, separated from your little man its a huge thing to do. I have everything crossed this will be the one. Ive always had good lining and usually take 6 a day but I know many people that upped the progynova to get there. As people have said you cant od on progynova or progestrone!!!

Well...fruck me swinging Luv, that's a turn up for the books now isn't it???

I think I'd still go to the appointment with Dr NL to see exactly what he would do differently. You can tell him while you're there that you aren't looking at Cycling until the new year but are just wanting to get your ducks in a row beforehand.

If you have a good GP that will give you scripts for the meds, then you can get what you need from him/her script-wise and follow whatever protocol he works out for you. "Crappy Clinic" doesn't have to know squat!!

I'd also try for a consult with Dr M...can you see him in person?? A ph consult would do (ask to go on the cancellation list). It's my understanding he would send you the scripts for whatever protocol he works out for you in the mail, same as pathology request forms for any BT's he wants done. You could then do the same as above and follow his protocol with "Crappy Clinic" none the wiser!!!

After I had a drug protocol worked out for me from either of those 2, I'd then apply it while doing a FET "on the house" with "Crappy Clinic"!!!! Yep, that's exactly what I'd do!!
