@Charlie74 just curiously, did LB sign off on/agree with Dr Ms Pred dosage?
Ive asked LB for a script for the active form of folic acid three times and she's given me scripts for everything but. Even my compounding chemist emailed me research on it she still wouldn't write me out one. I might need to order it from Iherb myself which seems stupid as my chemist made it up ready for me to collect but I couldn't get the script!

My previous post disappeared grrhh anyway I'm a planner so already have plan b and plan c up our sleeve. Can you ladies let me know what you think in case the but results aren't improved tomorrow. We are considering doing a final stimulated cycle early next year as we won't be able to make it this year as we are heading to NZ in 18 December. We are thinking the stim cycle maybe with pgd depending on the number of embies etc. if that didn't work then we would look at donor egg cycle in ct in March or so next year. Only prob is our fs thinks that we aren't there yet it's just a numbers game and matter of finding the right embie. I don't get many eggs I am lucky to get 4-5 eggs and usually only half fertilise due to hubby's mfi issue so he needs a tesa every time. We we of the view that it is costing us 4-5k oop for a small chance. If we went to ct I would need to find a fs who could assist or see if my go could assist in getting the drugs and lining scan if needed etc. I am also thinking about talking to dr m in the meantime and getting some bt done just to confirm if I do have any immunity issues as I have never been tested for it but I have been on clexane, prednsiolone and baby aspirin for the last couple of transfers including the successful cycle with our daughter. What do you ladies think?

Charlie74 there is lots of research now about the advantages of frozen transfer over fresh. I know that when I had my last 2 fet and recovered from epu that I felt a lot better. I'm on 450 dose so I usually feel pretty bloated. Have everything crossed for you for Thursday I bet you are very bloated now.

@midnite01 your thought process isn't entirely different from mine at the moment. Variations yes but travelling a pretty similar path. Fingers crossed your hcg has jumped up tomorrow morning and you don't need to do another cycle.

I'm cutting the Valium right back as of tomorrow but will stay on the anti bleeding stuff and I'll be expressing my displeasure on Friday when I go back.
Fair enough Luv if that's the way you feel. However, it's not his fault that Dr M was called to attend a birth leaving him to attend to her patients as well as his own nor is it his fault he had to go to do the EPU's scheduled that morning either which as you well know can't be pushed back time wise. He did his best under the circumstances and obviously left instructions for the FN to call you to follow up and make sure you're ok.

As to the meds...I can't say. You've been spotting off and on from what you've posted and had told him that you'd had a bleed etc so maybe he gave them to you as a preventative?? Better to be safe then sorry I'm sure you'd agree?? I'm sure Dr M will be able to answer those questions on Friday when you see her.

Probably the best thing under the circumstances would've been for Dr M to have asked one of the Admin Girls to call you so you'd at least of had a heads up and would of had the option to reschedule.

Bugger.. Not that we want to transfer.. We want to get to day 5, test and freeze.. But now we have a new worry.. Transfer not even an option if things don't go well..

Hmmm.. Am trying to put it to the back of my mind.. I can't fruckin start stressing about something else! Will be positive! And hopeful that any embies at least get to day 5 again like last cycle..
@Charlie74 - good luck for lots of quality eggs on Thursday!

I'm not sure if anyone has replied, but yes it matters. It's your body processing the folic acid and then passing it on to bub.

@midnite01 I'm interested in this list too. I remember reading that the gp can arrange most of them too I believe???

Ladies who've consulted with Dr M. Did you just complete his very brief questionnaire or did you send a copy of your full ivf records aswell. Also do you have to get a referral for the first Skype appointment. Is that even possible?
