@Tahli @Caesardust had to check my scripts there, 25mg prednisone, 40mg clexane. I think I start them fairly close to transfer then 5mg of pred to wean off. 2 lots of intralipids. Anyone know how much Genea shaft, I mean charge us for that? *shudder* I am assuming none of these meds are on the PBS either?

Promise I will put my positivity hat on closer to POAS time , I realise I am very lucky to have one PGD normal embryo waiting for transfer

I need to get AF pre 1st Dec to be able to cycle this year and take advantage of the safety net discounts.
LBs nurse wanted me to re-check my hcg levels on Thur or Fri morning in case my AF arrives on the weekend then collect the meds.
Btw, I feel awful, so sick in the tummy and my legs feel like lead.
Gawd Luv...that doesn't sound good Make sure you've got plenty of decent painkillers on hand just in case it's the AF from Hell due to all the meds you've been taking

You've still got a little time to decide what you want to do Luv. Depends how important another OE Cycle is for you to do or if you're ok with just drawing a line underneath it all and using your frosties over in CT instead??

Arm, scan showed, once again, two perfect bugs, both measuring 10w2d, HB of 165 and 174. I am so sh1tted off at dr W stressing me with his crapholey rush job of a scan that stressed me for no reason. The u/s tech also said the fluid was still only small and in a position where you wouldn't normally worry about it. I'm really happy and really shirty at the same time |

Am glad to hear the bubs are all good Luv and the bleed sounds like it's stopped Sounds like the meds have done their job. the SCH will now start to shrink and eventually disappear.

Jeesus that's a lot of Pred @Bongley. Like you said, all guns blazing. Has anyone other than @Chiefsgirl been on that high of a dose? Pred for me always starts on CD1. LB had me on 10mg and CFC recommended 15mgs. I stayed on 10mgs. On the next cycle I'm going to up it to 15mgs.
Re the intralipids, do you have PHI? If you do and you've already paid your PHI excess for the year and you have your intralipids as a day patient you should only have to pay for the solution, which for me is $32.
PS: at least the Pred and Clexane are cheap!

I was on that high a dose of Pred on my last Cycle Luv all the way through until I started weaning off them at 10wks.

It's a pretty standard dose for women with known immune issues partucularly for NK Cells. For me it was increased due to the Cycle before's BFN in an "all guns blazing" approach😊

Ah that's great to know @Tahli, I'll make sure I chase up the PHI. That would be a big relief, we are so skint. Genea ended up being so much more expensive than I thought it would be with all the extras so we blew our budget out a lot.
@JulieMalooley so glad you got to see your bubs again and everything is looking great!

Massive congrats @JulieMalooley! Can you start to wean off the Valium now? I'm so glad your bugs were right on track, both of them!
I think I feel physically rubbish due to suddenly coming off all the meds, except Pred of course, and my body responding to hcg then it dropping each day. It's tired and confused!
Thanks everyone for helping me make a decision on OE vs DE next. I'm sure the day I start bleeding the answer will become apparent.

Congratulations JulieMalooley! What a relief it must have been watching your two perfect bubs!!!

Midnite 01 I really hope your upcoming blood tests give you the desired results

Congratulations Corbes for the great hcg numbers.

Bongley. . At least u found a reason .. now we hope to treat it and hope for a positive result with your normal pgd embryo.

Tahli I know it's a v big decision. . Whatever decision u take, just wanted to let u know that we are there for u. And if u decide to cycle with LB this year with OE. .. then I really pray u get your af before 1st of Dec.

Charlie 74. . I totally understand what you are feeling.. we are also in the same boat. I have had the scratch.. will do intralipids. . Prednisolone clexane and hoping to transfer 1 day 5 and freeze and test others (if any ). But if anything like the p4 or estrogen goes up or down.. U know then they don't transfer... and all these drugs will go waste. .. but really can't do any much love. This whole ivf journey is bloody uncertain. .... I m so scared of this cycle. Left the pill yest and will start injecting on sun. Normally we have a very steep fall over from day 3 to day 5 and have ended up in 2 blasts on day 6 on all the 3 protocols with LB. And 4 out of 6 haven't implanted. So she is doing a down regulation cycle this time n doing intralipid etc. I try not to think and stress much though it's easier said than done. Please try not to worry too much love.. you have a good egg number. All the best for Thursday for very good quality eggs

Caeserdust Blossom74 Blondeinbrisvegas Windsor Infinity 888 how are u doing lovelies?
Is anyone in touch with Skyler and Fudge 09?

I started off on 20mg of Prednisolone a day, weaning off to 10 mg of Prednisolone as the weeks went on. I also had 40mg of Clexane daily which was meant to continue to Week 12.

Both are relatively cheap compared to many drugs I've bought. The Pred was $17 for 60 x 5mg tablets, and the Clexane was $37.70 for 20 x 40mg syringes.

No BIB it's the same size now as it was over two weeks ago and I haven't bled now in two weeks. I don't think he should have put me on them to start with - if he had spent the time to look properly and give me a chance to tell him the history. I'm cutting the Valium right back as of tomorrow but will stay on the anti bleeding stuff and I'll be expressing my displeasure on Friday when I go back.
