@Tahli, why don't you think about it more over the next few weeks whilst you wait for af and your head to clear. it's good you have the two options decided at this stage, but I think you might need more time to decide on which one. just rest for a while now, to take the pressure off yourself.
@Charlie74, good luck on thursday. I'm glad they've said no transfer if you have a risk of OHSS - you don't want that to kick in. and like Corbes said, you'll know more once they're all tested and your body's had a chance to reset. these meds cause havoc on our bodies, I think it's good to have a break where possible

Good luck on Thursday @Charlie74. @Tahli, if you are over 42 your chances of success with OE are something like 5%. As much as I would have loved my own too, it ended up coming down to statistics and dollars for me. Similar price here or in CT but 5% vs 60-70% chance. I guess it depends how much money you can spare ...

@Tahli I'd go the CT route. I have been tempted by the thought of doing another own egg round too but then I have failed with this 7 times so I have no idea why I would think it would work now! But yeah, no rush to decide? Julie does make a good point on the stats there.......
@Charlie74 ooh, good luck for trigger and EPU on thurday! I personally think that if the embryos aren't good enough to freeze then they wouldn't have worked out anyway.....

AFM so results are back and came back positive for NK cells so I will be on the hard drugs this time around. He's lined me up for intralipids too seeing as it's my last shot. Not looking forward to the bill on this one...... Between that and the stimulated cycle it's sure going to be different to the first two transfers, which is what I wanted. Moon face and murderous mood swings here I come.....

@Tahli Ah, he didn't give me a number, said it was just over the mark. So nothing crazy.

So PCOS, thyroid issues, graves disease, endometriosis, old crappy quality eggs and now this. I think the universe is trying to tell me something.

I actually look at my son these days and marvel that he is healthy and bouncing around because I thinks it's a frikin miracle he made it! He must have been one tough little blastocyst.

Thanks for the encouragement gals, not feeling terribly confident that this will all work. Just can't imagine it at this point you know? Happy to be proven wrong.

@Bongley My NK number is 12 or 13 which is when LB perscribes Pred. How many mgs will you be on? Is it more than 10mgs?
I look at my son and think exactly the same thing, esp now when I wonder how in the hell can I achieve that again. Given that I now know more about my body thanks to the tests LB did I wonder how he's even here.

@Tahli it sounds like the writing is on the wall and you're heading along the same train of thought however I think giving yourself some more time to think about all the possibilities is wise. Just so you can be super sure you're happy with your plan.
