I started talking about DE on the weekend and how some girls on this thread have gone to Capetown and that it could be an option for us, and when he found out the cost he basically said no way. He hasn't spent a cent on IVF as yet, I've covered all the doctors bills (and naturopath and supplement and tests etc) so I figure because he already has children he's just not that committed...

@Blossom74 I'm glad that your body is returning to normal although I totally understand about the last little sign of blossom is going too. So sad and there's nothing to do but grieve and keep moving forward towards your take home bub one way or another.

AFM I'm 9dpo on a natural cycle and tested this afternoon after I picked up a 3 pack of FRER and I swear I thought a line was going to come up. As the pee moved across the window the line was bright white and very obvious and I was pleading for it to turn even slightly pink, but it didn't. As it dried it did disappear so not even a squinter today. I'll try with FMU in the morning and see what happens.

and prayers being sent for 2 lines showing up in the next few days for you Luv!!!

Do you think DH's response is maybe because he's not open to the idea of DE's rather than not wanting anymore children???

I don't understand his reservation with the cost as from what I've seen on the SA DE Thread, it's often cheaper than doing an OE Cycle here??? Then again, no Medicare rebates either.

I haven Charlie. I'm going to see dr NL in a week and have the paperwork for Dr M. The only thing I haven't tried now is the intralipids I think. I still don't have a clear idea from a fs at my clinic what they think is wrong. Guess that's just another reason to change clinics now.

11dpo is still early Luv. Most women don't see a squinter until 12dpo.

Fingers crossed/Babydust & prayers being sent for 2 lovely lines over the next few days!!😊

P.S.....I think it's a smart move having a consult with Dr M/Dr L. A pair of fresh eyes never hurts Luv & if there's an immune prob there they'll find it.

Thanks BIB. Yes its just been a skerrick of old blood here and there for the last two weeks now, no red blood so hopefully all good. Scan is at 4pm bris time. AT least I know these guys are thorough so I'll take these scans in on Friday for Dr Mooring to look at and if she then scans and its looking not too bad I'll be hitting her up to get off this damn bed rest and valium if I possibly can.
These drugs are really knocking me around. I'm sleeping a lot but yet have never been so tired ! I've just gotten out of bed and woke up feeling exhausted and run down and it seems to be getting worse the longer I'm on the valium for. I wonder what effect it has on my poor little zonked out bubs.
I haven't done any catching up on BH as I just can't concentrate. I'm just wishing my life away right now.. well the next two weeks anyway. I can't wait to feel like a normal, hormone and drug free person again. Without a moon face. This certainly takes the shine off being UTD let me tell you.

At least DP is looking after me well, which I admit surprised me. Mum and SIL have been dropping off fruit and soup which is nice and I have a delivery of youfoodz preprepared meals turning up today so I've got some nice lunches so all organised. I've spent a bit of time buying some maternity gear, new and second hand on ebay and a web site called 'eve of eden'. Otherwise I'm spending about maybe 3 hours on the computer 'working' (which the nurse said is ok) and the rest of the time lying in bed or on the lounge like a zonked out zombie. The 'work' I'm doing is pretty half arssed but my boss is expecting nothing at all, so anything is a bonus to them.
I hope everyone else is going well... will catch up properly when I can actually think.

Good luck for Thursday @Charlie74 I'm sure you're going to get a great haul with that lot ! @Caesardust, don't write yourself off for at least another two days. 11dpo is super early.

@Summer, can you not sell him on the whole 'holiday' aspect ? Cape Town is beautiful after all and how long since you've had a decent holiday ? Really the IVF is a small portion of the holiday cost.
