Haha i had to get up early put crinone in and head out early otherwise i would of. The lines are still fairly solid just not as bold as the control line although ive noticed in one pack the test line was fainter than the others.

I've been at painting class all morning and heard about the Paris attacks on the bus on the way home. horrific news

Tahli, the only time I had crinone af didn't show until 2 days after I'd stopped it (when I finished the boxes)
my af still hasn't appeared- today is 3 days late. which means maybe Ov date was wrong so we prob didn't have a chance - this cycle is weird in anycase.

good luck for your BT on monday midnite01. sounds like you'll have great numbers.

@infinity888 I wish I had friends like you girls in real life. Ones that would just turn up at the front door with GU chocolate cheesecake, tissues and a hug. I'm filled with self blame - believing my body attacked perfectly healthy embryos.
@BlondeinBrisvegas thanks for explaining your bleeding on progesterone support.
@Bongley was it breakthrough bleeding and you remained pregnant or did you pass the embryo when you bled? I'm sorry for the naive question. I'm just confused about what to do tonight when my progesterone injection is due. I'm leaning towards not doing it and letting nature take its course.
A further naive question...am I able to do an ivf cycle when I do start bleeding? Or would it only be if I could produce a blood test hcg level of zero. I'm just wondering if I'm going to have to take the upcoming cycle off??

@Tahli you cant blame yourself. Not even for a minute. You have gone above and beyond for this little embie. Taken many pills. Paid lots of $$$. Flown to CT. Taken time off work. Had to organise your ds. Its so hard this ivf journey. Its not a reflection of your ability to be a mummy or carry a baby its a reflection of science. There are holes in science and technology and eventually they will find a way but for now we keep trying until we hit gold. Hold onto the rainbow hun your turn will come. Fx monday brings news.

oh Corbes, I really hope not. no bleeding sounds positive. I'm hoping the cramps are just your hormones moving things around inside you. maybe early MS too if you're not feeling well?

hugs Tahli. you tried everything you could, so don't blame yourself. I don't know what went wrong, just perhaps on the wrong side of the odds this time, as heartbreaking as that is.

    Default IVF over 40 #21

@Corbes, there is usually a bit of stretching/pulling which feels like mild cramps in early pregnancy. It comes and goes so I guess all you can do is wait, sorry @Tahli, I waited a cycle but only because I had no time to organise. In theory you can do back to back cycles in my opinion but best get onto CT asap and just ask the question so you can at least plan if it comes to that. I'm still hoping for a rise for you on Monday - fingers crossed x

@Corbes I had a lot of cramping with my pregnancy early on, hang on in there.
@Tahli I would take the progesterone injection. Have you had any bleeding yet? I had 4 days of bleeding and no the embryo didn't pass, it was the successful cycle of my son. I was taking crinone the whole time which was really gross with a 'period' but because my poas were getting darker and darker I stuck with it but thought it was an ectopic or something. So sometimes really strange things happen.
I completely understand wanting to stop everything but I'd say wait until the next BT. And yes, I think they would want to see the HCG levels come back down before proceeding with another cycle.
Big hugs lady, thinking of you this weekend.

@JulieMalooley hope you're doing ok after Friday's debacle.

Hugs to all those out there
Yeah I'm going a little bit mental lying around doing nothing. DP has been good though with the dinner, looking after me and cleaning so far. I dare say at the end of these two weeks he will have a whole new appreciation for me and all the work I do around this house
Thank god for the Valium, all I want to do each time I take it is sleep. If I could sleep away the next two weeks that'd be nice.
