Girls, I've been genuinely overwhelmed by your support. I've been crying reading your messages. Im sorry that I'm not keeping up to date with everyone's journeys at the moment.
About an hour ago I was sitting in the hospital chair waiting for my intralipids needle to be put in when I got a call from LBs nurse. They suggested/gave me the option of cancelling the intralipids as "it takes up quite abit of time" considering my hcg of 100. She said from it being 67 two days beforehand it should have at least doubled "each day".
I queried whether both embryos could have attached then one stopped but the other kept going and she said it occasionally happens but was less than enthusiastic. I explained about getting a BFP 3.5 days after transfer & she was surprised by that bit.
I also asked whether she'd be happy with a hcg of 100 at 14dpo if I hadn't had the 12dpo blood test and she said yes. But of course it comes down to the all important doubling rate.
They've all but called it over.

agree with the others, @Tahli. it must be excruciating to wait until tomorrow but I hope it will give a clearer picture. hugs. can you binge watch a tv show/series to try take your mind off things in meantime. I've been doing that this week. another bfn today (I think it's 14dpo).

so sorry @Tahli that is beyond stressful. The doubling time is over 2 to 3 days, not every day??
@winsor sorry about your BFN, ugh this 'journey' sucks the big one.

You girls are golden, I swear. Thanks for your encouraging words corbes, Bongley and winsor. Winsor I hope your POAS result changes over the next few days.
To add insult to injury, the nurse who just put my intralipds in, looked down at my tummy and asked how many months pregnant I am. Uhm, only 4 weeks.
My muscles (or lack of) under my rib cage have decided to pop out so I have a round firm tummy rather than just my normal pred jelly belly.
When I'm sitting down it feels like my ribs are digging into a basket ball and they keep cramping if I sit in the one position for too long so I'm standing up for parts of my intralipids for some relief.
@JulieMalooley if my body attacks these embryos then I want to know that I've done everything I could to help them, thus choosing to proceed with this intralipids session. The only thing I didn't do was increase my Pred from 10mg.
@BlondeinBrisvegas and @Chiefsgirl can you think of anything to test for and include in Fridays blood test that might show if my body is attacking the embryo/s?
Good luck for a successful week for all girls. X
PS: a real live harpist has just started playing beautiful calming serene music on the ward. What a lovely thing to do for cancer patients.

    @Tahli,

I swear I could have written your posts this morning myself. I remember all too clearly sitting here in front of my computer crying as one by one you all gave your relentless support and tried to gee me up when in my heart I knew it was over. That support though was what got me through all those horrible thoughts about how I had failed my baby, and what I could have/should have done differently. Whatever has or hasn't happened please hear me when I say there is NOTHING you could have done to make the outcome (whatever it might be) any different.

I do believe that your nurse has made the call too early. I think her comments have been ill-considered and quite frankly inappropriate especially considering you are only on Day 14! I, along with everyone else here, am hoping and praying that your outcome will be a positive one. You are still so super early in the game, and I truly do believe there is still hope. I just keep coming back to the fact that if you hadn't tested early you would be thrilled with the result you got!

Tomorrow you will have your answer for sure. Whatever happens is predetermined by the universe already. Hopefully you get fab news and that pesky bubby of yours is just playing tricks on you! Either way, we are all here to hold you up.

    Hugs,

    Blossom

@Tahli it is so hard but just try and keep the faith till tomorrow.
I don't know if they will authorise these blood tests for you, but Dr M sent me off for the following blood tests.
    ENA
    ANA
    B2 glycprotein
    Anti thyroid ab
    Lymphocyte surface markers CD56, 57, 8, 4 and 19.
I had a lot of bloods taken after my 3rd miscarriage so Dr M just sent me off for some that weren't done. I had already had thyroid antibodies done, but I have received the results and they are presented differently to other anyithyroid antibody tests I have had done.

I have just received my ANA one and it seems this is high so I am not happy that this test has been missed previously.
