Finally in bed, been a full on evening and now DS has an earache and is in bed with me. Hoping the nurofen kicks in soon.

Back pain still there. Have had no rest though so hope it is gone in the morning provided I'm not up all night with DS.

I last did a test Monday arvo/evening, line was strong and dark. I had bloods done that same day. And next lot tomorrow. Ob wanted them three days apart and I'm to call Monday (his next working day) to check they've doubled enough. I've not had any bleeding so far. I just hope I get through this pregnancy!!

Why don't DH's get it?? I guess it's because they don't have that little person growing inside them, maybe they'd feel different if they experienced it. I just find DH so dismissive, he didn't even cringe watching me inject clexane the first night, but omg if that were him having daily needles I'd never hear the end of it!

All he cares about is when we are having sex next!

Thanks for listening to me vent!
Well I hope you got some rest last night and you're feeling better today. Good luck with bloods today. X

My DP doesn't get things either. We haven't had a loss so I can't begin to appreciate how sad and painful that must be. But I'm finding the TTC journey is so different for DP than it is for me. He thinks I'm overthinking and taking things too seriously because I started prenatal vitamins as soon as we decided to TTC, I bought some books and started reading up in stuff, and I asked my GP to check my progesterone and ovarian reserve after 2 months of TTC. He thinks I'm putting too much pressure on myself. But this is a man who hasn't been to a GP for years and takes his good health for granted. I think good health is something to take seriously and invest in. I think it's just good sense to take prenatal vitamins if you're TTC. And I'm 37 with a history of polycystic ovaries, so if there's anything that's not working as it should, I want to know right away so we can consider all the options and get some help early. Same with POAS early. We're only planning on having one baby, so when it happens I want to know right away so I can enjoy every moment of being pregnant. And if I get a BFN, I can get over it, stop fretting and look ahead to next month. I don't think any of this will be serious or real for DP until he sees our baby on an ultrasound or feels it kick or maybe even until it's born.
Well they say a woman becomes a mother at conception and a man becomes a father at the birth. I guess the ttc process really just does affect us more, it's all happening within us.

Really? Ahhhh. Well my first bfp in this cycle was a bfn in the time frame. Then 2 hrs later I opened up the FRER and let it dry and then i got a line. I know you are totally not meant to do that but I don't. It's always been the first sign of a bfp. I got the squinter in the time frame with test intact a few hrs later

Did you have a normal cycle in November?

I just tested. The line is no darker which is what happened with my chemical last month. Hoping it's just dilute fmu as I drank a lot last night. Will avoid water for a few hrs and test again. FX. It's such a worry after mc in August and chem last cycle.
Only symptom so far is stuffy nose.

I have: feeling bloated quite low down at times, increased sense of smell, hungry all the time, only feel like eating spag bol. Also (TMI) feeling very wet, not ewcm, but very watery. Usually I would be drying up by now preparing for AF, so I'm hoping this is a good sign.
I was nauseous in monday but has been ok the last couple of days
Dull lower abdo pain on left side (had this with my son)
    Craving meat!
Boobs are bigger and regular bras uncomfortable

Ok, not what you wanted to see but perhaps it'll be darker with afternoon wee? And remember it takes days for the hcg to double. Between 48-72...

Oh how exciting! I understand feeling down that it's not darker but better than being no line at all, right? Fingers crossed its darker tomorrow!! I have everything crossed for you!

I totally agree that they don't really get it until the baby is born. My DH didn't even change his ways after the ultrasounds. But after the delivery he was different. And I must admit he was much sadder about the MC's when ttc number 2. It's like he knew this was another little son we had lost. It's just that we deal with it different ways and can't really be there for each other the way we need. Frustrating as I've not told anyone about these pregnancies and he's the only one who knows. But he doesn't really want to hear anything about it as I'm sure he is worried about me getting too attached. For instance, I said I'm not sure how I'll get through dinner tonight as mil has sashimi, prawns and lobster on the menu... Normally that would be awesome but not today! He didn't even answer me. Would have liked him to suggest a way out of eating all that without drawing attention but nope.

And yep he also thought I was nuts for all the reading I did pre TTC, and refused to take the vitamins I asked him to take. When I had to have a laparoscopy to remove Endo he didn't even want me to have it as he thought I was being paranoid. Sure!!
