Default Daycare and before and after school care

I know prices can vary but just wondering what everyone pays for childcare and also before and after school care.

I may need to put our 2 girls into both 2 days a week next year if I can't secure some night work so a 2 yr old in childcare and our 5 year old in vacation care. Just wondering if it will b worth it. Ta 😊

Default Daycare and before and after school care

Daycare - currently $75 day but with rebate it is $37.50 day. I am not far from city in Sydney but this price is really cheap!

Before school care is $13 (just went up from $10)

After school care is $18 (just went up from $15)

With rebate, before and after school care costs $15.50 day

Vacation care is $22.50 day with rebate and whatever the activity costs on top of that. Prices usually range from $5 -$20 per day

You can choose from several different options like paid to you quarterly, paid direct to centre or paid to you fortnightly.

I have the rebate paid to centre otherwise I would be paying $546 week.

After school care is $20 a day
Holiday care is $60 a day plus activities so up to $85 a day.
Last year when DS was in day care it was $85 a day

This is before any rebates from Centrelink.
