Default Tell me about Lite n Easy 😀

Trying to get rid of a few kgs but it's just not working. Thinking of trying Lite n Easy to kick start better eating (& want to see if the convenience is worth the $$). Would love to hear others experiences & tips 😊

Its not as fresh as its made out to be and restricting calories you will loose weight but put it back on when you stop. If you had a weddings dress to fit into then go for it but a long term solution it's isn't

    I love lite n easy.
I like most of the food and options to choose.
I'm not a huge fan of the frozen dinners so I just do breakfast and lunch.
You do lose weight. Just a bit slower I think.

We've had it before and really liked it. The food was better than expected. I lost 4kg in about 6 weeks (went from 72 to 68kg) and DH lost about 6kg. I had dinners only and he had lunches and dinners and we didn't change anything else in our diet/lifestyle. The first dinner I had was the crumbed chicken and when I opened it and saw the size of the chicken I thought yeah give me about 3 of them! But when I ate the full meal it actually filled me up. And therefore taught me that I have big issues with portion sizing. We found it super convenient and nice food, bit expensive but it does show you appropriate portion sizes which is good.

I tried it a couple of times before DH and DS. I quite liked the frozen meals. They tasted better than weight watchers, healthy choice or whatever those other ones I had were.
But in a 4 week period - nothing.
Not a single kg lost and I didn't have anything outside of their plan.
In the past, when I have counted calories, I saw immediate weight loss of at least 1kg in the first week.
I also found this was too much food for me. I didn't want to eat it all.
And I saw no difference in what you got at 1500 calories to 1800 calories. Where were the additional calories???

I love lite n easy, just lost 5kg on it and plan to go back on it when I find a new job. I just did breakfast and lunches and found that worked for me.
I started out on 1200 calories but was doing a lot of exercise and found I was getting very hungry so upped to the 1500 and was much happier.
It is expensive but for me the convenience is worth it, and my mindset is that I don't cheat because I don't want to waste money.
Another good one for recipes and support is healthy mummy/ lose baby weight. That's where I got all my dinner ideas from.
