    Am I *really* happy? No. But I'm happy enough. I have a lot of regrets and go over the "what ifs" ad nauseum in my head. As a result I've always found it difficulty to be truly happy. I'm more or less where I thought I'd be but I did think I'd be more content with it.

    I still think of you and your little angel Sian often. In fact just the other day I was also thinking about your little boy and wondering how old he was now.

    Yes. There are of course things in my life that I would change if I could, but most of those things are out of my control. They niggle at me and as much as I try to let things go, some things will always bug me. I just try not to let them interfere with how I live my life too much.

    I really have ended up getting everything I ever wanted in life (so far), I just had to wait a while longer than I'd planned. DH & my DDs are well worth the wait though.

    Am I happy ? Really good question, I think I'm a lot more content than what I was.

    I've managed to nearly get on top of my very bad depression and anxiety.

    Love where I live,

    Ds is a big boy now so things are a lot easier

    I have awesome friends

    I don't know if I am truly happy though.

    I try and be grateful for everything . I count my blessings daily.

    I just have a niggle about some things .

    About how I still haven't met anyone.

    About how I still don't know what I really want to do career wise.

    So truly happy? No. Mostly happy? Maybe

    Tough one.
    Until about 3 years ago i could catergorically said Yes and Yes!! There were ups and downs ut i always felt content.
    The my DH began a serious struggle with depression, our marriage fell apart (after 20yrs together) and the ride has been rough.
    Two years on and no I don't feel "happy" but at least now I see the potential for future happiness, I feel more content in myself. My life is far far from my ideal, but it is what it is and I plan on moving forward...towards the happy .

    Yes I am happy. Sure life has its ups and downs but my beliefs keep me very positive about the future.

    Mg daughters definitely keep me grounded and that makes me content and happy

    Thank you - he's now 5 and about to start school next year. On 7th June he will then be older than Sian ever was - just another milestone to deal with.
