    It looks like a reborn doll. They can be quite expensive to buy new and they're not aimed at children, rather a collectors piece for an adult, so $200 probably isn't steep if you're the target market.

    Reborn dolls are worth a lot as made to look very lifelike. Some are better then others, this one isnt that great

    Oh having seen the picture now no, that is not a very well done one by the look of it, its not one I would buy lol, have a look on eBay though, you get some gorgeous ones

    I think she meant that a local BSS wouldn't be hitting a big enough group to get the right market. eBay might be a better option so you actually target people who are actively looking for the product.
