I have a general buy/swap/sell question I'm hoping someone can answer

When someone 'likes' an item you've advertised, what is the actual point of it? Would this bump the item? Can the liker go back and find the item because they've liked it? Just curious.

It means they'll get notifications if other people comment or it gets edited etc

You don't get notifications if you like something though, only if you comment.

If you go to your profile page, you can look at your Activity Log, which will show you everything you've liked/commented on, so liking it means you can find it again later.
