Personally I never buy 2nd hand car seats
I think it looks like it's in good condition. They seat seems to be that velvety kind of fabric, maybe that's why it looks well used? I think it's just the shadows.

But in saying that, I also don't buy 2nd hand car seats, ever.

Actually, I have two 2nd hand ones which are left in QLD for my kids when we visit my dad and use his car. Both were given to us, one by BIL and one by a friend of hubby's.

Bought it 'yesterday'? Why not just return it then

I thought it looked alright too. I have one and they are that plush fabric and I think it's just shadows as well.

I'm a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to car seats. Have no qualms selling mine as I know they are well maintained and clean, but I'd never buy one myself either. But not everyone has that luxury. I'd rather sell someone my $500 seat brand new for $50 than have them use nothing because they can't afford even a cheap target one.

But that's logical! Either that or it should be "bought" yesterday......

We have someone on our page at the moment that seems to be selling every Christmas present they got! Hope nothing is from locals LOL.
