But then I realised, maybe you meant you felt sad for the person trying to sell the toy, and not for the toys themselves? Because toys don't have feelings... (they obviously do though)
nooo I do feel sorry for the toy!!! 😂

I sometimes feel sympathy for inanimate objects. like if they look sad/broken down and especially if they're cute. that's weird right 😂😂

I saw one the other day that was a chick wanting someone to take over her car loan. Basically she stupidly bought a new car with dodgy financing. She realised she can't afford the repayments but if she sells it the price she will get won't cover the loan. So she included the finance with it. Many many people on there were quick to point out her folly.

This is the thread for me!!! I always look on those pages and am gobsmacked at the prices people put on their junk. I sold a whole box of baby clothes 70+ items in good nick for $20 and saw others selling bundles of 5 baby onesies for the same price 😮 I'd rather just help out someone struggling. I give away stuff all the time.

Ps I totally had that exact same chuppa chup tin as a kid lol 😂 a family friend gave it to be.... wish i still had it could make me 250 big ones hahaha

We have a few serial offenders on ours that will try to sell anything not tied down. We have one woman who sells 40 year old kitchen stuff under the guise of 'retro'. No that's just old junk 😅 she'll try to fob off used electricals for new price no surprise no one wants it. Then there is the woman who has been bumping her used bikinis and other sundry for seriously 10 months. I'm so sick of sick of it clogging up the wall. NO ONE WANTS IT!!!

Then there are the ones who think anything old equals antique. No. No it doesn't. I've seen dirty old spoons, an old rusty gate and hideous damaged furniture all marketed as antique with a big price tag. Like the gate. ... for $150!

    Used dummies!
    I couldn't believe it.

However I love my BSS page, we're an awesome community and I met my 'almost' best friend on there 6 months ago.

One guy bagged the people in the area for owning 1 milllion dollar homes (next suburb from me) and then selling items for $5. Boy, did he cop it.

Ha! I sold my LG Dishwasher in my new house (I upgraded to a dishdrawer) on my BSS page for $400! (Not even a Meile) they are $1k+ new. I know the lady who bought it - it is still going strong and she is very happy ☺ it had all its legs though 😅
