I got curious, and had a look on gumtree in my local area.
Found this. Wonder if she thinks it's ok to sell a vibrator as well, so long as it's been sterilized :

Just on the ridiculously overpriced things..
Someone on my local bss has French bulldog puppies. No papers.
    Males - $4000
    Females - $5000
Am I the only person in absolute shock by that price for a pup with no papers?!?!

I do believe you and I are in the same area. Initials of town BM?

I just googled out of curiosity - they are a very expensive breed, even without papers! That appears to be around the standard asking price. Sheesh!

I can't believe people want to sell formula on buy and sell sites. Freaks me out so much. You have no idea how the person stored that formula, they could've had it sitting in their car during 40 degree days, sitting on a shelf in the sun and you wouldn't even know. It's even worse when they're open tins! What if they don't wash their hands before making bottles, or they've sneezed into the tin, or left the lid off etc etc. Worries me greatly!

I saw one once that was selling an unopened tin because hubby bought the wrong one. They "just wanted that they paid for it". Why on earth would you take unknown origins formula when you can buy it from the supermarket?!?

    this.

and if "hubby bought the wrong one" why not just get confused hubby to whizz back to the store with his receipt and get a refund!?

I know! I worked in a pharmacy and we didn't do refunds/exchanges on formula or vitamins for this reason. People would buy it, have it a few days and come back wanting to swap it for something different. Scary!
