Big tick this morning from my scan for ovulation. Had 7cm lining and a big fat follie. Just waiting on bloods to confirm but looks like pregnyl injection tonight. 😊
Hi everyone! I'm new to this thread but I was in the April/may IVF thread. My cycle was cancelled for medical reasons. I have severe endo plus badly positioned ovaries. Anyway I'm currently on 3dp5dt, which is pretty amazing we got this far but I just can't get excited about it. I had an extremely traumatic embryo transfer - difficulty getting through the cervix so a whole bunch of stuff was done without painkillers or anaesthesia I haven't stopped crying. I'm still really traumatised and stressed about the experience and on top of that I feel like my stress and anxiety is gonna prevent the embryo from implanting and I only have one frostie as back up. I'm hoping to get some positive vibes from you ladies I have my BT on the 19th so it's not too far away. I don't think I'll POAS beforehand though. The BT date is still 5 days before af is due (and it's always on time). Not sure if that makes any difference....
Good of luck to everyone here. Been trying to catch up on this thread... But 23 pages
Oh and there are 100 pages before this one lol

@Corbes & @corzjayne fantastic news!!
@Annerley- yay!! So happy that the wait is over for you 😊
@Evelynmoo, I go for my first scan and bloods for this FET on thurs 12th (day 8 of my cycle as I usually O on day 11 or 12), so thinking I will be transferring around 21st or so.....although I'm a bit sceptical about this round, as I'm thinking there are a few other issues....hopefully I'm proven wrong!
As for Dr Livingstone, I have found him to be great, although he didn't receive my request for immune testing so readily ( I have coeliac disease, endo and have had ashermans- all related to immune system)......but that's ok, I have a consult with a specialist in that field this Thursday also (busy day Thursday!) so will see what he has to say.
Also V interested in what Prof V has to say to you as my AF only lasted 2 days this month and was really quite light (well lighter than usual & it's usually pretty light anyway after AS) so thinking my lining will struggle more than usual this month, not sure what I have to back that up with, just a feeling......
Welcome to all the newbies 👋🏻
And good luck to all xo
Did you have any symptoms of your endo before you were diagnosed? Did Prof V do the surgery for endo as well?
I'm waiting for AF to arrive as HPT have all been negative, they were supposed to arrive yesterday. This may be TMI but today there is no spotting as such the only way I know there is blood is I inserted a tampon for about an hour and there was bright red spotting but it was so incredibly minimal. So I REALLY DO NOT know what is going on!!!!! I'm going crazy.
I have an appt booked with Prof V for next Thursday but its driving me crazy sitting in limbo as my IVF clinic are telling me to just sit and wait till my BT as well.
@Mink don't worry lovely! It will either stick or it won't. We IVFers have a tendency to over worry about everything and in the end I honestly think a lot of it is luck. We all know smokers and heroin addicts and highly stressed individuals all fall pregnant. Just go with it. Feel what you need to and then try distract yourself. I try (sometimes in vain) to forget what I'm doing and just go about my life. Watch a good movie (No Escape is out and a great thriller), go for a walk, meet a girlfriend for lunch, download an addictive tv show and watch back to back like me haha. This is my third cycle and I'm more relaxed about it now. I drove myself sick with worry the first time about any little thing. One time I convinced myself I'd killed the embryo by eating too much chocolate. (Those hormones have a lot to answer for!)
We are all here and all going through the same things and I've had some really really tough times. It will happen... One day and all this will be forgotten xx
