Default Anyone growing IVF twins due Mar/Apr/May 2016?

    Hi all,

We were lucky enough to get #1 at age 40 and went back for more last August. At 42 Dr WDA put our 2 good embryos in, saying there was a slim chance even one would take. So of course both did! So now at 43 I've been reluctant to believe that they'd actually stick and that we'd make it past 12 weeks, but here we are at 15 weeks and going strong! Eeek!

I've only just allowed myself to start planning for the onslaught. (DS will've JUST turned 2 when the twins arrive. )
Anyway. ...anyone out there want to share their journey and planning? I've only just started looking into it. Crikey.

Things have been going well so far. I've had near no ms and would hardly know i was pregnant besides getting really tired and having a round belly! I was really hungry in the early days, but now I'm off the prednisone things are back under control 😊

I look fwd to meeting some more twin growing mummies. X

Hi Sarah. Congrats on your twins! I'm 16 weeks now and my OB says that twins almost always come at least a month early so I'm telling everyone end of march. He wants to get me to at least 37 weeks. We'll see how i go!

Twins changes everything. We're in the throes of looking for a new car. We have a Honda Crv but it can't fit 3 seats across. Doh! !

Oh and yes I'll be having a Cesar. No choice as Dh was a Cesar 2 years ago.

I already wanna start buying stuff. But know its way to early.
When do u think the best time to start would be?
Oh. Do u know if urs are identical. Do u know the sex yet?
Heard they can tell at 16wks.

Hey Sarah, sorry it's taken me so long to reply. You'd be a couple more weeks along now. ..how's it going?
Nearly 19 weeks now and we just found out there's a boy and a girl in there! Perfect ☺ so obviously they won't b identical. Regardless, 2 embryos went in, and they both have their own sac and placenta. I'm going great, except sore hips and insomnia have set in. 😑 grrrr. That's quite early for the sore hips. But I'm getting pretty round. This is my belly and ds at 16 weeks. ...
