I've been told a tin of formula can be sold for up to $80 in China by a friend. She also told me to check out souvenir shops owned by Chinese because they usually stock formulas to sell.

For what it's worth I saw 3 tins of the Bellamy's infant in my local Coles yesterday. If there's anyone on the Brisbane south side who is looking for it let me know and I'll tell you

If anyone is desperate, I have about two thirds of a tin of Bellamy's Stage 2 formula that I am happy to give away to anyone who needs it in Brisbane's inner south.

I opened the tin about a week ago, but the child health nurse has now suggested I give bub lactose free formula for a month or so - so I have about 2/3 of a tin of Bellamy's Stage 2 that I'll otherwise be throwing away. (It won't still be any good in a month or so when bub can hopefully have it again.)
It seems a shame to throw it away given there's such a shortage. I know open tins of formula won't be for everyone - but if there's someone in Brisbane's inner south who might like it, let me know.

Down to good marketing!! When even your doctor/hospital etc preach for formula and the ads look so blissful you start to wonder why bother with BF...

My baby was 3mo and every women I saw during my French trip asked me how I was feeding and when I would stop BF. The young, the old, the new mums, everyone 😭
The same issues of status and perceived benefits of the Western lifestyle are at play in pacific island nations, surrounded by ocean - and yet everyone is eating tinned tuna.

I'm on that same site, it's pretty awful. Did you see all the comments from outraged parents?
