Now I'll be able to sleep tonight. Thanks @Corbes
I'm sorry @midnite01 I've only just seen your post re SA donor sperm.
Splitting the sperm is a sensible idea, esp when you'd be spending about $15k for the fresh cycle once you add everything up. You'd be gutted if all embryos arrested & you had nothing to transfer.
The donor sperm is only $100 for IVF/ICSI. It's mainly from young healthy uni students who want some extra cash.
@JulieMalooley has just outlined her SA costs on the SA Donor Egg thread.
You could always touch base with Cape Fertility Clinic this weekend via email saying you're interested in using donor sperm. Kimenthra, the head embryologist, will then email you the SD list. That way you could have a look over it and see if you feel comfortable with the idea and of course hubby too.
@infinity888 I think FRER measures 20 units and Clear Blue Digital with Conception Indicator measures 25 units. The CB still won't give me a 'Pregnant'. It's still telling me I'm 'Not Pregnant' even though the FRER second pink line is perfectly visible now. A good experiment I guess!
@Caesardust wow that is rubbish, why would they not let you know? They may not be terribly apologetic or helpful if its a low cost/public clinic. Still, even RPA would tell me mature egg numbers on the day of EPU, fert rates the next day and day 3 results (nothing on day 2 or 4 though)
@infinity888 & beckymae hope you gals are ok

I love your POAS pics @Corbes! Huge congrats hun!! They look great. It sounds like we'll both be rolling up our sleeves at the crack of dawn Monday morning. I hope you get a result you're super dooper happy with.
@BlondeinBrisvegas Thanks for the wake up call this morning! Do you have the link to the website where you can compare 'normal' beta results please? I'd love to know what the normal ranges are for 12dpo which is what I'll be on Monday.
I just checked my pregnancy notes from my son. I had MS at 11 dpo, CB digital said '1-2 weeks since conception' at 12 dpo and '2 weeks since conception' at 14dpo, 15dpo my hcg was 174 & prog 65. So at least that serves as a bit of a guide for me but I appreciate that all pregnancies are different.
@Blossom74 I also discovered in my notes that I weigh the same right now as I did when I was 38 wks pregnant. Wholey cr~p. You are going to be my good eating inspiration Blossom. Well done on passing on the hotdog too!
You were in my thoughts when I got my first line as it sounded just like your first one too. I'm so very sorry my positive result will be stirring up so much for you.
You've been talking about the 'mad/angry' phase of grief. I know where you're coming from. Mine hit me like a thunderbolt. I was attending a Xmas Eve church service in a quaint chocolate box English village after my 1st miscarriage, when I just thought, 'what a load of cr~p, what God gives me a pregnancy/baby after 7 yrs ttc & then takes it away, it/he's b~llsh~t'. I left the service early, wouldn't accept the complimentary chocolates being given out (that's saying something!) and thus found something/one to be super angry at. Vent away hun, we're all hear to listen.
