Oh cr@p love, not what we wanted to hear.

I know that bleeding can be normal in pregnancy, but how you ever come to accept that I'm not quite sure.

If it were me (and I'm not saying anything is wrong) for my own peace of mind I'd be off for another scan. Whilst the bleeding might well be ok, stress is not good for you or bubbies, and I know if it were me I wouldn't rest without knowing 'for sure' that all was well.

Don't worry about bothering people, or being a pest for asking to be scanned again. It's your RIGHT. And if anyone protests, chuck a hissy fit like no-ones business to get your own way.

    Hugs

I had 2 episodes of bleeding, bright red & quite a bit, at 5 & 8 weeks. Please go and get a scan, it will make you feel better, and that's what your OB is for. I also had a bit of old blood just about every day until about 10 weeks. Everything's all good with my bubba, and I'm sure yours will be fine too, but you need some peace of mind x

Two pieces of good news - well, for me anyway

    1. I did my nails today and they are looking fab , and

    2. I have now lost 2.5kgs! Woot, woot!

And in not-so-good news, my BT showed I still had HCG of 18 in my system. The girl I spoke to said "So of course we will be needing another BT...."

I have an appointment with that FS next Tuesday though so we will see who wins THAT argument. I'll give you a clue though - I am like a dog with a bone at the moment and won't be letting go in a hurry.

I'm sick of being pushed around like a piece of meat.

Oh, by the way. You know the 5 stages of grief?

Well, I'm stuck firmly in the "Anger" camp at the moment....

Or......I could just wait for AF and let nature take it's course?

I'm just sick of hearing the numbers go down, you know? I KNOW I'm not pregnant anymore. Do I really have to relive it over and over again?

@JulieMalooley I second Petal's post hun. How much money have you pumped into the system over the years. Go make use of the services available. It must be doing your head in. With your previous miscarriages did you get the back ache and cramps? I'm sorry you're going through this. Big hugs. Has it eased up now?
@Blossom74 At only $2.80 a FRER at the moment, why not scratch the itch I say?! It helps my anxiety levels to feel like I'm doing something. If this cycle is a bust I'm going to go insane!!
And huge congrats on your weight loss. I definitely envy you. I'm a big fat beached IVF whale!!
As a side note, I've just become worried that my 3 y/o son has mild chicken pox even though he's been vaccinated. Only 5 spots on his face. It may not be of course. But the timing if it is!!

You can definitely still get CP if you're vaccinated. We were all vaccinated as kids, and the day before my 16th birthday party (Happy Birthday!) me, my two sisters and my brother all got it.

My sister was nearly 4 years old and miserable, but we were all ok. I got it the worst - the Doctor said "My, I haven't seen a case this bad in years!"

    We got lucky I guess....!

No it hasnt eased up yet. My other two - one was a missed miscarriage, so no symptoms, just no hearbeat followed by a d and c, and the other one wasn't growing so we stopped the meds and waited for it to perish and only a few weeks later did the cramping begin. So I've never had a 'normal' miscarriage as such. I have no backache or cramping, just bleeding. It seems ridiculous to go get another scan when I literally just had one yesterday afternoon and they were both perfect. I'll see what DP says this afternoon and maybe we can squeeze one in tomorrow after my intralipids. I guess I can't just keep going every single time I bleed because I could be doing this for weeks and weeks. Also, I'm going to see Dr M next Friday and I can get her to do a scan while I'm there. I dunno... for frigs sake, just get me through these next few weeks.

@JulieMalooley - hopefully this will stop as the pregnancy progresses. I've not had it but my sister did until about 16 weeks and took the approach that if there was no cramping it wasn't an issue - and it wasn't for both her pregnancies. It was just normal for her and there was no explanation for it. However if it were me I know I'd be off for a scan if it lasted more than a day just to put my mind at rest. No Dr or Radiographer could refuse you a "mothers mental health and wellbeing scan" to put your mind at ease!
