Then a d&c hysteroscopy and biopsy. Then a failed epu due to no eggs although we had 5 follicles but i believe i ovulated spontaneously that cycle to cause this. Then another x2 stim cycles and again no success. So anyway thats alot and im exhausted. I'm sure many other ladies would of done way more than me. I feel its the hardest decision i will ever make. Keep trying or walk away?
I have a feeling my FS will tell me to stop throwing good money after bad. At the beginning he said if I did two cycles with no good embryo then that would be indicative of very poor egg quality. I've now had 32 eggs retrieved with 29 mature, 18 fertilised normally and looking like not even ending up with one to try ( have one day 6 frozen which I was told not to hang my hat on but I have no detail on its grading). I admire you being a me to do all those cycles. It's really tough and I've only just finished two stimms and no transfers yet.

@greenlady i believe because im young is always my response from fs and nurses etc they are happy to keep trying. About to turn 38. I might be youngish in ivf terms but my menopausal body is not. My low quality eggs and low amh and no success kind of show this so im pretty sure im now doing that throwing good money out if i keep going. I so wish it was different. Don't admire me. This becomes almost like an addiction. Just one more go and i will win etc etc but how do you give up what you want most in this world ? How do you picture a totally different future than the one you have always wanted? I'm trying to find those answers haha as im sure are many many many others on this roller coaster its the million dollar question

I agree with @midnite01 Luv I'm pretty sure there is a little extra in the vials just in case of loss. If worst comes to worst they'll change your EPU time. I'm sure all will be ok

Oh...and r.e transfer...if you have extra embryo's on a normal Day 2 transfer, do they grow them out to Day 5 before freezing?? If so, then I'd be using that as well to make my case as if they're happy to grow them out until Day 5 then why aren't they happy to transfer then (or on Day 3) as well???

    I'm sorry @beckymae and @infinity888 getting a bfn sucks.
@Caesardust I reckon you're probably going to be ok, does your clinic not have a 24hr dr you can call? I also agree with the others I'd be pushing for a day 3 at the very least. My clinic Wd do day 5 if I had 3 embies or more and day 3 if less than 3 embies fertilize.
@JulieMalooley I would do some research on the nipt, I think there is only one that works with twins. Also do you really need it? My ob said to save my money and do the standard nuchal scan and blood tests, that because my donors age Wd be used along with the baby measurements our chance was low for issues, and that if the nuchal results came back bad to do the nipt then, ours came back good so we didn't do it. I think it depends on where you are sent but my scan was $380 and I only got $85 back from Medicare and I am way over threshold. My 19 week scan is the same cost.

Hey Bib thank you for responding. My panic has decreased slightly and I think enough got in there here's hoping. My clinic do grow any embryos out the day 5/6 then freeze so it seems odd they want to do day 2 transfers. I'll definitely be asking very nicely to do the day 3 but I assume they'll say it's part of their protocol just as they refused to transfer two embryos. My money and my body but I seem to have no control of either.

@Caesardust I'm sure its ok but if you have an emergency/on call number try give them a call to give you piece of mind. some people seem to have 2 triggers so maybe they can give you another early in the morning to top you up. plus as the others mentioned, they can mature in the dish too (I've had that happen on an early cycle day epu too)

last cycle I squirted out half the first pregynl shot whilst getting air bubble out, and then shattered the second & third (it was a spare and i broke both within a few mins) vials and thought I was injecting glass (plastic?).

@infinity888 and @beckymae I'm so so sorry for your negative results today. You must be feeling like cr~p tonight. It's just so bl~~dy unfair. Massive hugs to both of you tonight. @Chiefsgirl I had my transfer on Monday and based on some info you posted a few days ago stopped the Q10 post transfer. Do you know why Dr M suggests to stop? @JulieMalooley Congrats on both of your bubs doing so well! Did you receive another pic?
