Hi midnite. Yes I'm with tfc/mivf. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I suppose I'd feel more hopeful if I hadn't already had 2 2day transfers that weren't successful. I'm wondering if they would push it out a day??

Im a planner we have figured we will try a stim pgd cycle if this fet doesnt work out otherwise we have plans to head to ct early next year for a donor cycle. My fs still thinks we have good shot but when you dont get many follies its an expensive wait and see game.

@Caesardust my old clinic always did two day transfers with my eggs and now I believe they did that so they could get more transfers and therefore more money, and probably keep me feeling like I had a chance. Really, where is the value in doing two day rather than three. You can't tell much with 4 cells. I don't believe in this day and age that they are at risk of perishing in the dish more than if they were in us. Maybe I'm just bitter, but I think it would have been better to have say 3 x 3 day left and therefore only a couple of transfers, rather than 8 x 2 day and therefore 4 transfers and they made 3000 per transfer. Yep. I'm bitter. I'd ask for day 3. If they don't make it to day three they wouldn't have survived in you either I believe. But that's just my very biased opinion... Good luck either way!

Yeah I totally agree Julie plus I don't like having a transfer on a Sunday. I'm not sure how they will be if I say I want a day 3 transfer but I guess I can only ask. I will wait to see what happens on Friday then call the FS and try my luck. I'm wondering if it is something that is negotiable?

I figure if there is more than 1 at day 2 then it's worth waiting to day 3.

@greenlady. I remember thinking i would only do 3 cycles but i just finished my 6th or 7th i cant even remember. Hahaha i had a freeze cycle first one, then a canceled natural fet cycle. Then a medicated fet. Then 2 stim cycles one failed one chemical. Then a d&c hysteroscopy and biopsy. Then a failed epu due to no eggs although we had 5 follicles but i believe i ovulated spontaneously that cycle to cause this. Then another x2 stim cycles and again no success. So anyway thats alot and im exhausted. I'm sure many other ladies would of done way more than me. I feel its the hardest decision i will ever make. Keep trying or walk away?
