The embryologist has just confirmed that she's received my emailed is currently thawing my two embryos. Eeeek!! I head to the clinic in an hour. I'm off to do my injections early so I can move my mind over to positive happy thoughts. And yep, @BlondeinBrisvegas I'm sure the two Valium and two panadeine forte will help!!

Grrrrrrrrr...... This is a vent girls... I'm sooooo p'ed off right now...

I told u all a month or so ago that DP saw an interventional radiologist about getting his varicoceles treated.. And low & behold he was fab, and also said he could do it in the public system so no huge cost involved!! We were stoked! Especially bcos he told us he was just about to stop doing work in public.. But he would squeeze us in!!

So we've waited.. Waited.. Waited.. heard nothing.. Except for a brief call we made to the hospital only to be told there was no further surgical list yet & they'd let us know..

So today I follow up and call the doctors rooms. And his receptionist tells me that he has officially resigned from that hospital already.. But she would call to see if DP could still get the procedure done.. She then came back to me & said he had been booked in for 16th November... With some random interventional radiologist doing the procedure.. And we wouldn't know who it was till we rocked up on the day...

Maybe I'm being stupid but I'm SOOOOOOOOO fecked off right now!!!! This kind of procedure is a big deal psychologically for a man to have done.. DP was so comfortable & confident with this doctor (& he had a VERY serious life saving surgery 3 years ago that has left him just a little serious & sensitive about being in hospital etc so his confidence in this guy was REALLY important!!!!)

I feel like bloody crying right now. I really don't want to subject my DP to a procedure with a doctor we won't even meet till the morning of.. AND to make matters worse.. My EPU is likely to be on the day of the procedure!!! Or the next day maybe.. Which would mean we'd have to use DP's frozen sperm...

I asked how much to just have the original doc do it privately.. Around $10-12k... Forget it..

God... Why does every... single... thing... Have to be so difficult??? I feel like smashing something right now..

Sorry girls.. I'm so negative right now[/QUOTE]

How totally frustrating - I hate being blind sided by things when I think I've got everything lined up. Surely they would know who has been allocated the list for that date so that you'd know what radiologist you were going to get.

@Corbes, I got the faintest, grey ghost line at 6dp5dt, but only I could see it (not DH!) and I had to hold it into the right light. Dammit though, it was still there!

@Tahli, good luck love! Thinking of you.

@Infinity, hope you feel better soon

A big day at work for me and presently in the midst of cooking dinner. I am officially a Starvin' Marvin'.

I didn't figure out which of the meds it was, as I was on so many - but your FS may have a better idea of what it is in your protocol that could be causing that effect.
FYI I haven't been on the immune meds other than thyroxine (yet) but I went from being mildly hypo to developing hyperthyroidism (graves disease) mid cycle 3 years back. Always wondered about that. Also I suffer from pretty bad night sweats at the mo but mine seems to correlate with drinking wine

It's been a long day but after waiting to see the GP (then waiting to have bloods done and then more waiting for a scan) everything came back fine. 2 bub's with heart rates around 170 beats per minute. There is a black spot between baby B's gestational sac and the uterus that may have been the bleed but they can't say for sure. Baby B is a fighter it seems.
