@Tahli imo go two and leave it up to the universe. If only 1 thaws properly ? or if only one takes? or if two take? There is so much we have no control over so imo sometimes we just have to let the universe decide. GL

@Charlie74 argh, what can't anything be straightforward? You try your best and be proactive and organised and then something like that happens Hope your DP will be ok with the change of plans.
@Tahli oh it's so hard!! Still, nice that you have a choice!

@BlondeinBrisvegas I'm doing 3 boosters at days 3, 5 and 10... so do you mean testing for pregnyl on day 11 on? If so, maybe it would be best I wait till standard early tests day 12-14.... And it should be out of my system? Official test day is day 16 (so far away, how will I cope??). Lol

I'm sorry @Bongley my comments aren't meant to be insensitive. I know I'm lucky to have the choice. I thought of you several times as I was making the long trip over here. Thinking how lucky you are to have your frozen embryo so close geographically to you. That's part of the issue for me with wanting to thaw that second one. Im sorry if my comments make you want to stick pins in my eyes!!

@Tahli HAHA! No, I don't want to stick pins in your eyes, I just want to steal some of your embryos. Bring some back in a freezer bag will you?

Gosh I wish I could. On day 4 I had about 20 'spare' embryos, over and above what I believed I needed. The clinic and I had discussions about how I could enable Australian women to use them.
If I get pregnant then my egg donor will have reached her 'family limit' thus no-one in South Africa can legally use them but I could have transferred them out of South Africa and donated them to other Australian women.
Unfortunately those 'spares' didn't make it through to day 5 otherwise I would have had plenty to share hun.
