    Default IVF over 40 #20

What a beautiful photo @JulieMalooley. I guess you are probably still tense but hoping you can breath a bit easier now.

Good thoughts to all those in the tww. Hopefully the time passes quickly for you.
@Tahli have a safe flight and come back with a little stowaway.

Aww thanks for thinking of me @BlondeinBrisvegas. I don't know how you keep up with everyone. The blood test forms arrived in the mail Thursday afternoon and I will get them done next week. Luckily there aren't a lot as I had about 8 vials taken after my 2nd miscarriage and he isn't repeating them. I have sent the list to Summer but if anyone else is wondering if they are wondering if there is something they haven't been tested for, let me know.

Enjoy your afternoon tea. The thought of it should get you through the drudgery of grocery shopping. We have to go to Bunnings to get mesh to fix a screen door. I find Bunnings boring but my husband seems to think it is the best store ever.
@greenlady I hope you get great fertilisation results soon.

Morning bib. I had to go to a function last night so was awkwardly carrying the extra bad with my injection and ice pack inside plus tablets and gels. Gosh it was an effort plus eating buffet food with the bloat I've got going on has meant I'm feeling very fat this morning! Urgh. Anyway acupuncture should relax me a little this morning then another function tonight to wrangle my way through with the meds. I guess being restricted like this is kind of good training for when having a baby makes it near impossible to go anywhere without stressing out 😳😳😳. Sounds like you have a nice day planned. Enjoy x

@calypso75 Good to hear they arrived Luv😊

    Yeah...Bunnings is DP's second home!!!😁 It's as boring as batsh*t to me!!!😁

@Caesardust Always fun carrying around your *stash* & having to jab in miscellaneous car parks/bathrooms😐

I hear 'ya on the bloat even if mine is AF induced (who turned up this morning!! Could've waited until I did the grocery shopping FFS's!!!😡).

Am sure the accupuncture will help😊 Never had it myself but I reckon it would be relaxing!!

Hopefully you can have a wee rest before going out tonight??

@Bongley Thanks for the heads up Luv..will try it!!!😀👍

Hi all - got the dreaded call from the clinic this morning. Out of 13 11 were mature and suitable for ICSI. As of this morning 6 fertilised normally and are still going. I didn't ask about the other 5 in terms of the reason they didn't fertilise ( last time I had 7 or 8 that just disintegrated soon after being injected). At the same stage last cycle I had 7 left on day 1 out of a start of 19, 17 mature. So I guess in terms of a ratio this cycle is slightly better.

i didn't want to talk to the scientist as I find they give me too much info that I don't want to know and then I drive myself mad stressing and googling . So I've asked for no more updates until day 5 which is Wed. Last time in day 3 I had 4x 8 cells and that all went to crap by day 5 so I'd rather live in the hope bubble until day 5.

@greenlady, the wait for fertilisation sucks big time. I have everything crossed for you that the six good 'uns hang in there love

@Infinity, my sincere apologies for missing wishing you a happy anniversary. Not sure how that passed me by. I know at one point I made a note that I had to mention it, then Friday came and went and....well, I didn't! Hope you and DH had a magnificent day

Hello to all the other lovelies. Hubby is trying to rush me out the door but I'll pop back in later. Hugs to all of you.

@Green lady You're off to a great start thus far Luv!!😊👍

If you can get at least 3 of those to the testing/freezing stage then that would be fantastic!!!

Am crossing everything/babydusting & praying the drugs have done their job & you'll have at least a few quality Blasty's on Wed!!!😊xo
