Mine get like that all the time. I use my nails to 'pick' at things. Can't help it! But I just do what you do, basically file them back some more. Or change. But my supply is running low, so I'm having to suck it up and make them last!

I put on some samples the other day. The white ones were fine, but the others crinkled and felt awful and plastic. I'm sure it was my application - that's why I tried the samples instead of wasting a "proper" sheet.

Going to use my strengthening stuff for a few weeks and get my nails to grow before trying again.

Flowers and yo-yo's as my 3yo DD called them!

I had a sparkle finish on for the first time a few weeks ago, but I wore the strengthening base underneath and didn't give it long enough to dry. My beautiful sparkles came off within 48 hours. I learnt my lesson and give my under oats at least 12 hours to dry!

Eta: a lot of us consultants swear by trushine as a top coat, but I would never go down the path of recommending someone buy at $170 kit just to seal wraps at the tip
$170?! Yeah pass thanks. I already feel nauseous at the $22 a sheet 😁

I know! That should read as US consultants, not us. (As in America- I don't recommend it at all, unless you like in home gel systems!)

Sil and I both applied chasse today and whilst hers looks amazing, my nails are the wrong shape and make it pucker too much. Lesson learnt: satin finishes are not for me.
