I still wouldn't buy off eBay though- there is just no guarantee that you would be getting "Jamberry", and any other kind of wrap might turn a person off which would be a shame. Also, it's against p&p for anybody to sell Jamberry on eBay or gumtree etc so either they're breaking the rules, or they definitely aren't Jamberry.
A lot of consultants I know keep a small inventory that they would be happy to sell to you sans postage. Your choices would of course be limited to what they have in stock, but at least you won't have to pay postage or wait for snail mail!
Or- host a party. My party generated enough PRV for me to qualify for 3 months free postage (amongst everything else!)
I bought 2 full sheets and 2 half sheets off Ebay (2 separate sellers) and they are the real thing. I'm very happy with my purchases for $11 for half a sheet with free post.

These were my xmas nails ☺ First attempt, had a few little bubbles on the sides, but not too bad overall. The metallic stripe ones have started peeling, I think I heated them too long... The top layer has peeled up, but the bottom layer is still stuck on.

    Cute!! I love that combo
The metallic ones only need like 1-2 seconds of heat apparently. I haven't tried any yet, but I've seen lots of discussion on the matter

The same thing happened to my Gatsbys! (All white with gold lined patterns) I'm just steering clear of anything with the metallic layer. I can get 3 weeks with near perfect nails from the French tips x

Yeah you're not supposed to use any heat on them to apply then just beat to seal. I'm scared to use them!!

    Er...heat to seal.

Is that just the metallics? My Mai Tais are 7 days in, I've had a bit of 'fraying' but I just clipped my nails and refiled them. One corner of my thumbnail started to lift but I'm ignoring it!
I wondered about a top coat.

    Default Jamberry Wraps

It's metallic and lustre, mostly. Are they just a bit ratty at the tips?

I had a sparkle finish on for the first time a few weeks ago, but I wore the strengthening base underneath and didn't give it long enough to dry. My beautiful sparkles came off within 48 hours. I learnt my lesson and give my under oats at least 12 hours to dry!

Eta: a lot of us consultants swear by trushine as a top coat, but I would never go down the path of recommending someone buy at $170 kit just to seal wraps at the tip
