I am trying to distract myself while dd2 randomly picks places on my legs to use an epilator on. Ouch

I am overjoyed to have my heart back after 4 days at his dad's house.

I am annoyed that his dad put him back in nappies for 4 days just because DS resisted wearing jocks once. He always resists until he puts them on, which he would have found out with a simple text. Thanks heaps for undoing all of that effort...

I am back after a few days off. Was visiting family in the country and there was limited phone/internet reception. Was nice though. I kept leaving my phone at the cabin though haha.

Was nice to see my mum, brother and family. DS had a blast with his cousins and got to see his great grandmother again.

I am stunned by how many kids are going to dd2 birthday party. I only sent out 10 invites mostly to grown ups and almost 20 kids are coming! A third of them are from a large family so it makes sense but I just did a tally and the actual number of kids is far higher than I realised. Here I was worried there weren't going to be enough kids! Lol

So happy that it is raining in my home town. It is so dry and desolate out there. The roos come right into town to eat grass off the school grounds. Graziers have had to sell or shoot their stock.... It's heartbreaking. Hopefully the rain sticks around for a long while yet.

I am also kicking myself for reading scary stories on reddit. I'll never learn!

Tbh I would buy a cheap pair of sandals. 😂

But you can get shoe label stickers from label places such as Hippo Blue.

I had a voucher for a kids shoe shop the same price as the sandals haha no way would I normally pay $80 for his shoes. I saw shoe labels but wasn't sure if they would fit in a little shoe. I'll check out hippo blue though thank you :-)
