Lucky I'm going away Boxing Day until mid Jan - blessing in disguise that it should only be the next few days and maybe a few days in Jan that I'm inconvenienced - imagine if I was planning on driving somewhere for Xmas!!
He never even said sorry!! Gah
Even had the audacity to ring me last night and suggest that I should ring my insurance and tell them it happened at 5pm (not 2.45) as he'd just bought insurance when he got home. You've got to be kidding me!!!

Mate I don't have to pay anyway!!! Why don't you help me and organize a rent a car... A**hole.

Rant over... Lol. At least nobody was injured, could've been a different story entirely.
I think there is a 24 or 48 hour period you have to wait before insurance policies become valid so him saying that would trigger alarm bells immediately with insurance companies anyway. Stick to the truth or you could end up with your own policy becoming invalid.

Eeeekkk! DS had a temp yesterday, is 'off' today but it is his molars coming through.

I had a temp the other say too and am still feeling ick.

Hope he perks up soon. Of course it all has to happen at this time of the year!

    Well done!
Last minute makes me twitchy! If I had my way, I'd be done by the beginning of November!

I still have to get some stuff this week! But it is plants. And I didn't want to get them only for them to die or something by Friday lol.

So a trip to Bunnings this week.

Still awake, have been awake since 3am. I wonder when my crash and burn is going to be? I promised the kids we'd go looking at Christmas lights tonight and I've got no time for a nap today.

This is not necessarily the case. Some insurance companies will issue a certificate of insurance immediately once a policy is purchased. Or you can obtain a cover note which is effective immediately.
