I've had 2 ectopics. It wasn't painful really just had light spotting and weird hcg and progesterone levels and a 6th sense with both it was ectopic. Had each diagnosed and removed by 6ish weeks

Could it be a corpus luteum cyst? Your symptoms sound similar to what I had in early pregnancy, this was the culprit.
I hope it's nothing serious and settles down asap!

I get these pains in pregnancy too. They can hurt but it may only be your body preparing for the growing pregnancy. Perhaps speak to the dr about bringing the scan forward a few days to rule out an ectopic.

@deku it looks like you are right. Scan in e.d showed what they believe gestational sac and foetal pole in uterus and looks like its a corpus luteum cyst causing the pain. They are sending me for a proper scan to double check (e.d machine wasnt great).

Good to hear! I mean, a cyst still totally sucks and I'm sorry to read it's so painful for you, but I'm glad it doesn't seem to be an ectopic or anything.
Good luck with the follow up scan!

Follow up scan confirmed cyst. Gestational sac where it should be, measuring 5 weeks 3 days however at this stage looks completely empty. Have been referred to early pregnancy clinic, follow up bloods and another scan in 2 weeks.
