    Default Should I get checked?

Im about 5+4 and for the past fee days have been getting increasingly sharp "stabby" pains on my lower left. Its not excruciating but tonight enough for me to have to bend over and stop what i am doing until it passes, it makes me feel sick. Its not a constant pain- its uncomfortable all the time but these bursts of pain that are getting worse.
I am trying to not worry over nothing- i know pain and cramps etc are all normal. But to me something isnt feeling quite right. Im probably being over anxious. I dont have a uti (already been checked) or spotting/bleeding which is good.

Its just this pain on the lower left side. I dont know if its something worth getting seen for or not!

    Help? Advice?

I'd get it checked out. This is exactly what happened to me when I mad a miscarriage (didn't even know I was pregnant.) last year. I had one stabbing pain a day until the night before when I bent over and went Oww. - completely on my left side.
That being said, don't let me panic you because I was discharged with them thinking it was a normal early pregnancy

Wouldnt it be a constant pain? Thats my biggest fear, but I imagine it would be an unbearable pain

    Sorry you're experiencing pain
A scan usually wouldn't detect an ectopic this early in pregnancy. I had a scan at 6 weeks and they said it was too early to tell.
I would definitely go have your blood work done again just to check if everything's progressing well.

When I had my ectopic I had niggly pain that day that came and went. That night I woke up in terrible pain and went to hospital. Tube had burst..

Please go get it checked. Tonight if you can

Yes, when I had my ectopic I had niggly pain that came and went for a few days before things got ugly. Also, a sac, foetal pole, yoke sac and faint flickering heartbeat were clearly visible at 5+6 for me, so you may not be too early for a scan at 5+4. I hope very much for you that it's nothing sinister, but I would agree with the other ladies that it's a good idea to get it checked out sooner rather than later. Good luck - fingers crossed it's a false alarm and all is good in there.
