Default Melbourne Ladies (Northpark, Mercy, Northern)

    Hi,

Any Melbourne ladies currently pregnant or past pregnancies who have been to Northpark Private Bundoora, Mercy Heidelberg (Public or Private) or the Northern in Epping???

Anyone that went Private at Northpark which OB did you see and roughly how much out of pocket was it??

Also, has anyone see a private OB and delivered as Public at the Mercy?? I know of a few OBS who consult at Northpark and deliver at the Mercy.

Please any help/opinions/experiences would be helpful

    Thank you xx

I went to northpark in Bundoora and would go there again next time. It was a great hospital the midwives were awesome and I think that is why we had a successful breastfeeding relationship from early on. My ob consulted at northpark and oop was around 4k but then got some back from Medicare and we had reached the safety net. Pm if you want more info on my ob as I don't think we can mention Drs here.

I was booked into Northpark to have my DD but had to go through Mercy due to complications with my pregnancy. It was ok, but I wish I'd been at Northpark. After all, it's one of the reasons I pay so much for health insurance. I went through Tilak Weerasiri and was about $2k OOP. I was happy with him. That was 4 years ago.
