The owner of the flooring place gave us a really really good deal on all of our flooring, saved us about $1.5-2K, so I'd just feel really petty calling them back out for that... the lucky thing is that it's in another area of the house, so it's not immediately obvious. To normal people at least!

DS2 occasionally has these mammoth pram sleeps which come randomly. Like right now when I have overstayed the 2 hour limit in the car park... Can't see any chalk marks on my tyres hoping I will be ok?! I dare not wake him..

I just found out that the train I catch to work is being canceled for a week and replaced by buses with the advice that it will take an extra 1.5 hrs to reach the city. My 5 hr round trip commute will be turned into a f-ing 8 hr round trip... Leaving home at 5am get home at 9 pm. 😡

I think I'll try to work from home. I don't want to brave driving as I'm sure a good portion of the 100,000 or so other people that usually catch the same train will be doing the same and the already over-clogged roads will be chaos!

I understand that these things happen occasionally but it does seem like poor planning.
