Food battles are the worst. Especially the smaller sized kids it's so hard not to feel guilt, even though it's not your fault. You can't force them to eat. Hugs

Don't they understand that some kids need to be on the smaller side? That's how the curves are developed!
Sucks about the not eating. I'm currently having the same issues with my DS but he throws his food around when he doesn't like it. I hope your food battles come to an end soon.

fortunately mine has grown out of throwing food around - he just gives it to the dog instead. They have no clue - there current beef is that there isn't enough food in the house for 2 for the period I've told them it is to cover (despite me also saying that the fruit/vegies etc are largely for him & I only have them a couple of times a week) combined with him telling them that no he hasn't eaten that day when they are here at 3pm - usually his choice. Not to mention that he refuses point blank to take anything other than an apple or cucumber to school that he doesn't eat & usually refuses breakfast.

But even though they have spoken to his paed who has told them he is happy with how he is tracking & his health etc, it is my fault he is small because of not providing food & ensuring he eats & sleeps enough.
