DS I love you, but your constant whinging, whining and squealing today is simply doing my head in. Enough is enough already. You've used your quota for the rest of the week.

DS - I have ECT headache & want to sleep - you playing beyblades & making the dog bark is not helping with either.

    And mum - frick off.

I hate ECT days, especially when it is in school holidays

Whoops halved all the ingredients in my Thai curry except the coconut milk. Perhaps I can call it chicken and coconut soup 😊

Can you set some boundaries with him? Like he can stay up as late as he wants but after 9pm unless it's an emergency he's in his room - quiet play only? And maybe he has to let you sleep in until 7 every second day or something?

Why is it every time I take DS2 for a walk in pram with intention of him sleeping, that every neighbourhood dog decides to bark at me, every old man decides now is a good time to get out his blower vac/lawn mower/loud construction equipment?! 1 hour it's taken me to get this kid asleep!! Shut the eff up people!

I just want to have a shower just for me. With the water as hot as I like. With ALL of the water for myself - why is this too much to ask 😭

DS is 19 months. He sleeps in a sleeping bag because he literally moves over every inch of the cot as he sleeps. Mum asks why he doesn't have any blankets. I explain why. She proceeds to tell me that it looks very cold and sterile and he has nothing to snuggle with, blankets and pillows make the bed inviting, amd no wonder he doesn't like going to bed. She follows that up by asking how I would like sleeping on a mattress with a sheet with nothing else. Mum, that is so not the reason that he doesn't like going to sleep. What do you want me to do? I've already told you that I put the sheepskin in his cot and he freaked out and tried to throw it out. Do you want me to just put blankets in there for the sake of it, so he can get tangled and annoyed by them?
