Breach them. That's not good enough if it's been reported and remained un fixed for a year!

DS is booked in on Monday to have his tonsils and adenoids removed and grommets put in (along with dd), literally 30mins after the hospital rang to confirm he tells me his ear is sore. Didn't really take much notice until he started screaming in pain (bad mum moment!), off to the doctors we go and yep he has an ear infection!!! Could the timing be any worse!!! Now waiting for the hospital to call back to tell me whether it will need to be postponed or not!!

Oh no, sorry to hear that. :-( Such bad timing.

Just as an aside, the two ear infections my DS has had since the surgery last year have always involved lots of pus oozing out of the ear as the grommets drain it straight out. But no pain at all! So hopefully that will be your kids too, no more screaming in pain afterwards.

Thanks @Bond Girl. I still haven't heard back from the hospital (liaison nurse), fingers crossed I do sometime over the weekend or we will be heading down hoping for the best. He didn't have a fever and our gp said it shouldn't be an issue but I would just like confirmation from the hospital. Maybe @J37 might have some idea what will likely happen?
